Fandom Radio, Thursday, September 24th
Mornin' Fandom, this is Hardison bringin' you all the gossip fit to broadcast.
Startin' off with School, we had Friendship is Cultural Exchange! bringin' people on a hot air balloon ride to Cloudsdale, which as y'all can guess, is up in the clouds. Where the pegasuses live. Pegasi? Whatever. On the way up, Edward asked if they were goin' to heaven an' explained to Pinkie Pie that folks ain't supposed to go there while they're alive. My Nana would have a few things to say about this. Then in Ethics, it was...droid-baby week? That sounds ominous--an', yep, students seemed to think so, too. Isabela tried to escape out the window, but Obi-Wan was prepared for that. Everyone was paired off--except for Isabela, sorry, girl--an' given a baby to take care of. Ain't flour more traditional? Lottie an' Gwen came up with a name before talkin' about how ugly it was, an' Isabela had to be coerced into takin' hers. An' last, in Surviving (An' Thriving) On Fandom Island discussed communication, an' various methods that are more accurate than gettin' drunk squirrels to spy an' take notes.
*Angry chittering*
Uhh, I just got this note that says that the lecture was interrupted by a passionate makeout session between Lady Ghani and Tahiri, which continued until--I'm sorry, which will continue over breakfast today. An', yep, that's some very unbiased reportin' glad the squirrels were able to argue the point of yesterday's class. Umm, students took notes on what the squirrels are assurin' me was the obvious romantic affection between their teachers, an' Isabela left her droid-baby out in, err, out in the open, next to her desk. Where she fed it. Students checked emails and their phones, then discussed the kind of media they have back home.
Dorms had a little bit of activity, with Jasper out on the deck. Xan--Zayne--Zanth--another student came outside an' flirted with Jasper over bein' sent here cause nobody back home...cause nobody back home was excited about the prospects of a public school an' thought a private one would be better for their education.
Movin' right over to Town, folks were hard at work again. At Luke's, Kenzi was celebratin' Yom Kippur by feedin' bagels an' lox to my girlfriend who was explorin' the vents again. Hey mama, love you! At Stark Industries, Cosima gave up on work after bein' pelted with fruit. An' at Book Haven, Alana continued to be industrious an' probably deserves a raise.
That looks to be everything, except for this...how did you write a seven chapter story about Tahiri an' Ghanima's relationship in the time it took me to read these notes? Just how long have you been workin' on this? You know what? I don't wanna know. Bye Fandom, I'm peacin' out before they try to make me read this on the air.
