Fandom Radio, Sunday, April 19th

Hoooly god that's a lot of notes. Something's going on this weekend, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, I bet there's a something.

*Papers rustling*

... Oh, Fandom. You crazy sadistic island, you. Makes me happy to be graduating in a week, you have no idea. Anyway, I'm going to read these, and I'm going to be thankful that I don't have any dead people crawling all over me today, okay? Nothing against you dead people listening at home, I mean. Just, you know, some people should stay that way.

Okay, so, no school again, because weekend. But in the Dorms, Isabelle got to hug her kid brother, Max, which is kinda awww, I guess. Ezra was looking at cute food on his phone when Kathy stopped by with presents. A shirt and some brownies? C'mon, Kathy. At least tell me they were fun brownies.

This is me having doubts.

Flick, unsurprisingly, slammed the door in his father Henry's face. Henry tried to get him to open up, at least until Kathy arrived with awkward small talk. Not that she stuck around long. She offered Flick a way out via dinner later. Aw, good Mouse. Aaaand then Isabelle showed up with Max and everything kind of disintegrated into punching and yelling and I never thought I'd say this, but damn, go Isabelle.

And now I need to gargle soap.

In Town,, at people's respective homes, we had Parker waking up with Nick pulling on her ankle, thus leading to the best breakfast ever with cereal from the box and chocolate milk from the carton. Which Hardison wasn't as thrilled about, because from the carton, but Eliot showed up with the puppy to defuse the situation, because little kids like puppies, right?

Atton was giving meditation a try when Meetra - oh. Ah. I. Oh. Um. I mean, she, uh, joined him. For meditating, and then Atton talked to her about some, you know. Stuff. That happened. Just some stuff.

Derek woke up to his mom making breakfast downstairs and kind of bullied Stiles into looking presentable before he could introduce them. Hannibal's place, he was up all night talking with his little sister, Mischa, when Jono and Didi came over, chatting on the lawn for a bit about who Jono's seeing now and an old letter or something before they all did introduction things.

Obi-wan had a sudden fit of wake-up-and-get-dressed, which was good, since Satine showed up and they talked about where she'll stay, and whether or not she should have had a pet, back when. Skywalker showed up and tried to get Obi-wan to share his feeeelings, but mostly they ended up talking about all kinds of dead people. Which is sort of the topic of the weekend anyway, so.

Moving on to the other parts of town, Kennedy found Tara in the preserve, where they did some reminiscing about Fandom and Sunnydale and talked about getting some food together. Aww. Nathan was in the preserve too, when a woman calling herself his mother showed up to say hi. Anders came to the rescue and tried to interrogate Cora, the mom in question, and then they had a pretty okay chat about, like, why she was there and Anders and stuff.

Atton and Meetra were having quiet time and ice cream out at Galactica Point, which... hey, pretty view. Not a bad place for that. Prettier than the parking lot, anyway, where Ronan was working on his car when his father showed up for a visit.

Emma Frost was at the perk intimidating the baristas when her brother, Christian, stopped in for some sibling banter, and wound up meeting Karla who encouraged him to flirt with her fiance for the pretty factor and Jack, who talked about the impossible task that is keeping Emma out of trouble.

Karla and Warren waited to meet up with Karla's dead parents in the park, where the folks got to meet the grandkid and get pissy over last names or something? I figure if you've been dead long enough to miss out on a grandkid happening, you've probably lost your right to have running commentary on who your kid marries. Anyway, Bob showed up and was happy to see Karla's happy little family, but took of for his office to get caught up with Winifred when she arrived.

Tara stopped by the park to visit for a bit, and Karla got caught up with her, though it was a little bittersweet because, you know... kinda dead. But they talked about what happened to Tara, and about the kid, and Tara caught up with Warren a little about some of the same.

And then finally and possibly most importantly, the bar. Caritas. Where Mike was clean shaven, alas. I suppose all good things must come to an end someday. Which I guess is kind of a sad way to lead into Atton bringing Meetra in for a drink. Sorry about that, man. And to Derek, who came in to show off his mom to Mike, too. Jack came in and met Derek's mom, and was all smug about Derek and Stiles being a thing, and Jack and Mike had 'we have no dead people here' bonding time. You can't see it, because radio, but I'm totally giving the air a solidarity fistbump, here.

And it looks like that's all the notes, so I'm going to go and have myself a great day with, like, no dead relatives visiting me or anything, because... nope. And if you are a dead relative of mine and you just haven't found me yet, like, do us both a favour and don't. Cool. Thanks.
