Heeey, Fandom. It's Sparkle. And you're going to have to bear with me a little, because my percent isn't hovering anywhere near one hundred today. I'm more like, I dunno. A fifty-five. Sixty-five if the squirrels bring me coffee.
*Chittering*
You guys are awesome. Double-double, okay? And while you do that, I'm going to read the notes. Where the school was dead and the dorms were quiet, and, like, everyone on the island was somewhere in town, saving the day or being sick or whatever. So, you know, in saving the day news, after Jack found a message from Ingvar, he and Emma rounded up a bunch of telepaths and empaths around the island, and Emma, Skywalker, Jalian, Karla, Raven-who-isn't-a-student and Atticus had a chat with the island. I guess Fandom made the same stupid deal as the rest of us sickies because it wanted us to be happy or something - great job, island - and Jack got to round up more troops to help it get rid of, like, its thing. So, there's Sam Winchester, Face, Four, Eleanor, Jack, and Bob, all by the Causeway when, like, Gaunt who nobody even likes shows up just as they pull up this tree with a suitcase stuck underneath it? And they broke it, so he threw some kind of pissy tentacle monster tantrum and flew away to the theme from Chariots of Fire.
... That's weird even for here, but okay. I'll go with that. And play it for the rest of the broadcast so you can all picture it at home.
*Cue music.*
Jessica was pretty pissed when one of the troopers told her that Gaunt had up and, you know, vanished from his cell, because that's kind of the opposite of what cells are meant for, here. At least Eleanor stopped in to tell her that he was, like, flouncing. Gwen got back to the island and hit up the Perk, where Jessica filled her in on what had happened, and how she's stuck here now. Oh god, Jess. My condolences.
Things were still kind of busy at the clinic. What with a bunch of people still being sick and all. Hanna and Anders talked about how awkward the next few days were going to be - god, I get that - and Pinkie educated Hanna on the way of the pony. I'm pretty sure the answer here is 'Friendship is anything we can put in a class name.' Anders and Elsa talked for a bit too, about, you know, how stupid they were to fall for Gaunt's whatever. There's probably enough of us to make a support group, guys.
... But hey, everything is better to this music. It's as good as Yakety Sax that way.
At his place, Atton went to sleep, which, like, sounds like a stupid note but isn't. Hardison was playing video games at his place, and Eliot was cooking because he couldn't stand any more pizza, and after Parker grabbed some food and Eliot cooked, I stopped by to bring them back a thing I sort of... you know... took. But they were pretty cool with that. They all kind of seem pretty cool in general.
Way too cool for Chariots of Fire.
*Cue better music.*
