Fandom Radio, Sunday, March 8th
Ow my everything hurts. Did you guys hit the button for me? Oh shit, you're the best, you hit the button and I love you. Now if you could like get me a straw for this rum like I'd be super grateful?
*Chittering*
No, nobody attacked me. Atton just has me lifting weights and I feel like I'm gonna die now. Which, if you've ever seen Atton work out? Is apparently the same frigging thing? So, if you guys just hold the notes up for me... Like flashcards, yeah, just like that, and- HI, Fandom! This is Sparkle, here in a manner that's totally timely if you squint! Here to help me today are my lovely assistants- uh, I never did catch your names?
*Chittering*
... Roderick Finnegan Zedekiah Remington Steele Forrester McBirchtree, Esquire. And--

Greg.
My lovely assistants two of the squirrels, who will be holding my notes for me today. Nobody was over at the school yesterday, so I guess we're going to start with a non-creepy report from the dorms, about how Travis and Kathy hung out on the deck talking about the weather and nasty historical fashion. Look guys, say what you want about the seventies, but until somebody steals these corduroy bell-bottoms and burns them on me, I'm gonna rock the look. Mostly because I think it's funny, yes.
In town, Doctor Lecter invited Prof Starsmore over to his place for cuddling - Hay, CECIL! - and talking about taking up extreme sports and more cuddling before Doctor Lecter turned into a king cobra. So, uh, I guess maybe less cuddling after that? I just hope he turns back before class tomorrow, because there are some people it's cool to learn baking from. And then there are king cobras. Which sounds cool in theory but also sounds kind of like horrible snake death so no thanks.
In less serpentine news, Jaina was texting people from JGoB, where she met Obi-Wan and made introductions, what with all the being Skywalker's granddaughter she's been doing her whole life. Skywalker showed up for hugs - from Jaina, not Obi-Wan, though I'd totally read that fanfic - and they talked about Jaina's wedding, and whatever shitty presents Skywalker might give her for it.
At the Perk, there was Kirk, shamelessly being a flirt. It almost rhymes all the way through, good enough. Anyway, he and Cara did some catching up, and talked about fandom weird and giiiiiiirls. Or a girl, singular, that Cara likes. Aww. Needful Things was open for business yesterday too, and Tony swung by to chat up the new owner about Fandom being weird - no shit - and the multiverse and everything.
At Luke's, Eliot hung up on some Nate guy and talked class stuff with Parker before dealing with Hardison, who was pissed off over the Nate thing. Hopefully Eliot and Nate will kiss and make up again soon. It always sucks when friends get sucked into lovers' spats.
And, finally, Mike had a special on spiked hot chocolate going on over at Caritas, even if he was drinking the regular stuff. Which, hey, also good. Also, I'm gonna just order it as 'virgin hot chocolate' from now on, because I think I'm funny. Derek stopped in for a virgin hocho too, and after a bit of 'dude are you following me,' they started arguing over facial hair. Which is a noble pursuit, I guess. Like. I dunno, the answer is always, like, yes, if it's done right. Isn't it?
Anyway, that's the notes. I'd like to thank my squirrely volunteers today, Greg and... other Greg. And now I'm going to go have like eight consecutive hot showers and then find a rock to whimper under while I try to re-constitute the soggy pasta mess that I used to know as arms. Later, Fandom. Sparkle out.
