ooc: radio broadcast schedule!

We interrupt your picnicking for the tryouts radio schedule! We have a couple one-shots, so this is not the final schedule for the regular broadcasters- I'll post that in about a week. So, with all dates being the day radio is due by noon EST:

MONDAY, JANUARY 5: Jones
TUESDAY, JANUARY 6: Anakin
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7: Face
THURSDAY, JANUARY 8: Tony
FRIDAY, JANUARY 9: Cecil
SATURDAY, JANUARY 10: Anders and Cassandra
SUNDAY, JANUARY 11: Sparkle
MONDAY, JANUARY 12: Carmilla
TUESDAY, JANUARY 13: Cosette and Eponine

If there are any problems or if you need to trade days, just speak up!

Also, to broadcasters and squirrels: please apply to the comm with the journals you want added. I tried to add some of you and it keeps reinviting old accounts for some reason, sigh.

The thing where it reinvites old accounts is a recent bit of well-meant stupidity from LJ. If anyone was ever made a maintainer of a community, then they can only be removed from that position by themself, or by the official owner of the comm -- even if they've been removed from membership in the comm. So every time anyone new gets invited, LJ also reinvites every maintainer who's no longer a member but didn't uncheck their own maintainership status before they got removed. The spamming of old admin journals from the official comms when we added new characters this time was a joy to behold.

The only solution seems to be for the spam-ees to re-join the community temporarily with those journals and remove their own maintainership status.

Oh, FFS. Even doing that -- I logged in as Mavis and un-maintainered myself -- invites back all the other old maintainers.

My guess is that it's either Jaye's journal, or Jack Sparrow's, that LJ considers the official "owner." If you can remove maintainership from other journals while logged in as Jaye, that would indicate it's her. If so, you should be able to un-maintainer and un-moderator all the old journals (once you un-check maintainer, then it lets you un-check moderator as well) and the re-inviting should stop. (I just spent a while testing this by logging into the FH communities as ft-directory, which we made the owner rather than any of our individual character journals, and it worked for those comms.)

ETA: forgot to say -- you can sort the member list by the Moderator header at the top -- so you don't have to scour through every name alphabetically looking to see who has that status!

Okay, I think that worked? I un-moderated and un-maintainered everyone that I knew to get (because it's midnight and I'm concerned about unchecking someone who's just off in alumniland and I shouldn't have unchecked) and a couple I missed unchecking a box (because it's midnight) and it'd reinvite them again as "member, can post," so I went back another time and hopefully I got it right, omg.

Thanks for looking into this. *gives drinks, and pillows*
