*YAWN* Sorry everyone. Holiday weekend plus late night last night equals a tired Torch this morning.
It looks like there wasn't any action at the school - surprise surprise, it was Saturday - or the dorms, but there were some goings on in town.
Nikolai was hating the world over at the Arms, where he was getting constant phone calls that he was ignoring and the kitchen staff made him a birthday cake that he was also ignoring. Hannibal gave some birthday greetings and promised to write a doctor's note explaining why Nikolai hadn't let his family know that he wasn't in California for the past year. Oops.
Jonothan was writing sad, sad songs at Groovy Tunes when Eleanor popped in and... talked about sad music and sad things in the past. I shouldn't have described it as a pop in, I guess.
Anyway, happier news: alcohol. Hatter hosted a wine tasting at Cafe Fina and the only reason I didn't show up was because I had a very nice date. Also... *sound of pages flipping* Nobody my age was there, but that has never stopped me from anything.
Irene showed up and once Hatter picked his jaw off the floor they talked about superpowers and tours of the wine cellar before focusing on the fact that Hatter can go home now and it might be nice to take Irene to meet his friends. Hannibal said hi to her before talking shop with Hatter.
And that's all I've got. Tune in again next week, same Johnny Time, same Johnny Station.
