Fandom Radio, Saturday 3/29
Ha, made it! Good morning, Fandom High, or...not good. Whatever this morning is. Plenty of things to stab out there, though. Loki or whoever he thinks he is this week doesn’t appear to be coming, so let’s get started with school.
In The Modern Workplace And You, the teachers couldn't decide whether the class was about parcheesi or quiche, so they tried to do both at once, which doesn't sound that much weirder than usual to me. The students actually found it kind of refreshing, or Elsa and Jeff did. Sholeh was very polite to the Queen of Mars, which is probably a good idea. Chemistry 102 was not exactly cancelled but the teacher was kiiiiiiiind of busy, so he didn't really stick around to teach it. Coping with Change featured an argument about whether or not the students should have even shown up, and arts and crafts. Chamber or whatever we're supposed to call him now threatened to fail anyone who actually showed up, but a bunch of people did show up and he can't fail all of them. People like Yeul, Jeff, Eleanor, and Anna, most of whom had some argument to make about either their dedication or the fact that they were already out stabbing things so why not come to class?
*chitter*
Oh, and Anna's a ghost, so it's not like she can die again anyway. Is that new? *chitters* Great news, guys, apparently that's not new!
Jeff then asked for permission to go do something productive if this was gonna be crafts hour. I like you, Jeff. Flavors, Food Choices, and Menu Planning was not cancelled, but it was optional, held in town, and featured dino meat on the menu. Oooh. Emma had to clean off the blood and guts from, you know, getting there before anything else. Sholeh asked for permission to take the leftovers home, and Chamber showed up to try some dinosaur, so I guess he has a mouth this week? Over in the library, Billy brought cocoa and coffee for the people trying to figure out what's going on. I see the coffee being way more popular with the researchers, like Sholeh, who brought dino leftovers. The door to Special Collections actually opened today--seems ominous--so they planned an expedition. Jeff and Sholeh speculated on what's in there, and Hannibal pointed out that last time things went pear-shaped we found the answers in there. Yeul wondered what the protocol was for going into Special Collections, and Jeff and Cosette wondered if it was a trap. It's always a trap. Inside Special Collections, they found a photo of Elizabeth and Booker--I don't know them, but Jeff does and wanted answers Elizabeth didn't have--and a wanted poster, same people. Huh.
Principal Winchester held office hours, where Anakin stopped by to talk about fighting T-Rexes and how tired they are of Vikings. But the Vikings are awesome! Kenzi called, wanting to know when all the crazy will be over, and, look, we're working on it. Stab something. You'll feel better.
In the dorms, Sia was in a coma in her room and someone should probably go check on her.
In town it is all crazyville all the time. Let's see. *shuffling notes* Highlights for yesterday. Zombies, killer snowmen, everything's dead in the park, and there's a glacier at Galactica Point, so dress warmly out there. At the Trooper Station, Tamsin tried to interrogate Booker, but he swears he doesn't know what's going on any more than we do. Karolina flew a patrol over the island this morning, and Sparkle had a close call with one of those scorpion things. Amelia had a close encounter of her own, with a dinosaur, and it sounds like she's a little kid? What's a little kid doing alone out there? Did someone get her yet? Arachne killed a bear in the park, as you do. Over at The Devil's Nest, Allie made lemonade out of her lemons by refusing to kick the Vikings out, because they were paying well.
Aaaaaaaaand that's it. I'd say stay safe out there, but first off, I've met you guys, and second off, I am not convinced there is any safe to be found. So stay smart, and well armed. This is Alex, signing off.
