Fandom Radio, Thursday, February 27th

Hey, all, like, five people out there on the island these days, this is Sparkle, as, you know, usual, with notes about what's going on in freaking, like... where is Bali, anyway? I feel like I'd probably feel like I was missing out more if I knew where the hell it was, you know? I know it has spas, like the one Kitty went to, and you can, like, play... what's squash? Jack Naught did that while Alana took in the yoga.

Celia and Cade took in the local whatever-the-food-is at the Garden Cafe, Stiles got some texts that had him worried at that other, more different restaurant, and like half the female population of the school hit up the - I can't even pronounce that, but I'm assuming it was a pool. I'm saying it was a pool. Suck it up and deal if it isn't, you're in Bali, you don't even care, god.

And then Hanna - teacher, formerly male but can't remember that and that's completely freaking weird Hanna, not my coworker at Demon Marcus - went to check out the Museum Pasifika. What kind of museum is tha-art museum, and I'm actually sort of jealous. Were photos allowed, Dr. Lecter? It's not every day you get to take in that many East Asian pieces of art all collected under one roof like that.

And then, in the evening, people waved farewell to Bali and headed off to Kuala Lumpur. Still jealous, guys. Maybe next school trip, I'll be able to convince my parents to let me leave the continent. It'll happen someday, I swear. Anyway, in Malaysia, the squirrels totally weren't being voyeuristic was Rilla went for a bath in her room, but they were lamenting that there's only one pool at this new tropical resort that they've stopped at. Poor squirrels. You'll understand if I'm more sympathetic toward Maddie, who had to deal with Jackson's splashing her while doing laps in a pool that isn't, you know, made for laps.

Don't be that guy, guys.

And making up for the lack of multiple pools - seriously, you guys are all spoiled rotten out there - Sia hit up Mosaic's dessert bar, Atton went to Cascade for whiskey, Isabelle watched them prepare the sushi at Wasabi Bistro, at Lounge on the Park, Karolina, you know, lounged while reading a romance novel, and at the MO Bar, Cade asked Kitty if he should be eating the Wagyu.

Cade, if you didn't eat the Wagyu, you missed out. Seriously. If you didn't eat it, I want you to go back there, talk to the nice waiter or waitress about getting yourself some, and then put the beef in your face. You'll thank me. Do it so that I can live vicariously through you.

And... I think that's all of the notes. This is Sparks *microphone feedback*, and here's hoping that everyone has as much fun in Malaysia as they did in Indonesia while I'm here wasting away on a much smaller, less tropical island. Bring me back a souvenir or something, okay?
