Fandom Radio, Saturday, January 04
So. Squirrels. I know how this goes. I'm in your radio booth, I have your notes. I get rum. Right?
*Chittering*
Come on. I have like a new sibling today and I haven't even done my hair - oh my god if this runs into the picnic and I miss getting to meet my sibling I'm going to - What? Well yeah, I'm not going to be out any sooner if I keep talking, I know that. But I'm not going to be out of here at all if I stop talking, will I? This is radio. What happened to the usual guy, anyway?
Lost his voice? Yeah, laryngitis is a b- *microphone feedback*. So, one of those little travel bottles of rum, and I'll cover for the usual guy. Deal? Deal.
Nothing happened in the school or in the dorms, because we're enjoying the last bits of our vacation while we still can and like hell we're going to be in the school for it, but over in Town, Alec was holding a buy two, get one sale on guns at the Freedom Arms... Seriously, babe? Anyhow, Anya thought it was a joke, and then tried to buy a bunch of other weapons, and Alec suggested that she, you know, learn how to actually use them before buying them, because you'll cut your own foot off that way, jeez. At Dite's, my whole damn shift was colder than *microphone feedback* because the heat was out, but then Alec stopped by and kinda buried me under his coat? And then we talked about mistletoe. Because we do that. Talk, I mean. We're talking.
Heh.
So, Mike E. at T&C was learning all about why school supplies are a thing, or something like that. There was a sale, anyhow. Nerds and bookworms, you know what you must do. But you better beat people like me there, because I'm totally gonna buy and sharpen all the pencils just to get them stuck in the ceiling or something before you can get them. Over at Caritas, Mike L. was being all, like, bleh about something or other, and at Devil's Nest, Allie was having a sale on hot drinks, because, again, it's cold as *microphone feedback*'s *feedback*ing *censor beep.*
I mean, it's no Canada. But it's still decently cold out there. And on that note, I'm off to the picnic. See you there, fresh meat.
