Fandom Radio, Wednesday, December 11th

Good morning and happy holidays to both the people of Fandom and our lovely and not at all sketchy guests. I know it's taken us a little bit to get comfortable with Hyperion and their actions here, but I think we've finally started to come to terms with them and started treating them like the honored guests they are.

In Food That Is Certainly Not As Good As What They Serve At Mooby Land, Part of the Hyperion Corporation, Hannibal explained the importance of presentation. Can't argue with that one. While the class was a little distracted during the lecture, they still got to eat up and wish it was in a Mooby Land bag.

History: Things That Happened But Were Not In Your Previous History Books had a movie day since there's so much commotion about how great things are right now. Because seriously, guys, this week is my favorite.

Ethics talked about the ethicosity of well armed teenagers and if you ask me, the only thing better than that is how great Hyperion has been to us, you guys. As you might expect, discussion was solidly in the pro column, which is great since Hyperion weapons are so readily available without anyone even asking for that.

And over in the library, people were studying. Finals are right around the corner, after all. Riley and Topher played some cell phone games. Topher being Topher just couldn't wait to jailbreak the thing, though. Say goodbye to your AppleCare warranty, Mr Poole. He was still able to use it to make a phone call, though.

Over in the dorms, everyone seemed to be in a festive mood today. Like my buddy, Jimmy Bo Bob Kirk, who was checking out things on his own phone. I'm betting he was Christmas shopping. I could always use new novelty socks, Jim!

In the lobby this afternoon, Flick was giving money to the Hyperion Corporation via gun buying while Sparkle gave his opinion on the whole thing. This is just a guess, but he's probably completely positive about the whole thing.

And then in the same dorm place, later dorm time, Maddie felt the spirit of the season and started decorating. Loki was more than happy to help, being the delightful little fellow that he is. He also told Maddie a bit about the times when his brother is a corgi. I caught up with Loki and we talked about how great glitter is for decorations during all seasons. Maddie and I talked about the wonders of technology as we continued to decorate. And Billy let it be known that he was a fan of decorating, too.

And in one final bit of dorm news, it seems that there's some kind of broken machine over by the weapons locker now. Reports are hazy on what it is or how it got there, but it's probably festive.

But moving on to town news, Handsome Jack made another one of his just amazing radio addresses yesterday after the regular broadcast. I can only hope he does the same thing with mine. I know I'll be listening.

Meanwhile, there was still more digging in the woods and there was nothing at all suspicious and weird about it you guys.

Natalie was in town at the Perk when she checked out the gun vending machine over there. Roland busked around town, singing 60s songs that I can only imagine included Happiness Is a Warm Gun and other related songs. And Éponine was having a lot of trouble getting money boxes out of places they didn't belong at the Post Office.

Mary cleaned her new gun over at the Armed Hotel. Evan was focused and hard at work at Book Haven. Bay was finding money boxes but few customers adventurous enough to be out at Luke's. And Kitty just had to remind everyone that Caritas was violence free, which is a shme since we now have all these new and great guns. Oh well.

Anyway, that's it for my always-serious take on the news. Stay tuned, just in case that devilishly Handsome Jack has something to say.
