Hi there. This is Jessica Drew once again with the news that hopefully everyone is used to by now.
Starting with school, Cassidy was in the library, fighting the good fight against shelving disorder and making out schedules in her free time when Loki came by, asking for help with his Student Council campaign. Speaking of which, I just submitted my name for senior class representative, so please vote for me. I already know how to abuse any small amount of power given to me, as evidenced by my shamelessly pandering for votes during a radio broadcast. What more could you ask for in a senior class rep?
Back to the actual news. Vider had bribes ready for the gremlins in her room when Loki stopped in to give her information on Thor being a teacher and him being a stalker. Beware any bad boys he sends your way, Vider.
Danny was making tacos while watching cartoons in the third floor common room. Raleigh and Danny bonded over surviving the experience of Fandom for a whole week before discussion turned to the holo-john. Victor introduced himself to Raleigh before launching into yet another list of weird things that happen here. Isabelle and Raleigh set up a cafeteria date for Monday. And Victor discussed tacos with Danny before segueing into how Doctor Doom is evil, as if the name wasn't enough of a hint.
Isabelle and Victor made their introductions in what the squirrels indicate was a flirty manner. Isabelle also informed Danny that she has high five standards and he hasn't met them yet before they got into dorm room decoration. Danny wants a giant fish tank for some reason. Stiles professed his love for Danny - presumably because of tacos - and then had to walk his enthusiasm back a bit - definitely because of random puking. Isabelle and Stiles talked about her brother and werewolves before Raleigh let Stiles know that he's only a C-level big brother.
Tacos were of utmost importance to George, since he and Danny talked about those before even introducing themselves. Isabelle discovered that George is a special magic kid who reads in his world. And George and Raleigh bonded over letting other people cook for them. Cade was angry about being awake so early in the afternoon, but he and Danny both bonded over space, presumably the 'outer' version where other planets live. Cade and Isabelle discussed exercise and apparently that turned into euphemisms pretty quickly, because Cade. And in the exact opposite of that conversation, George and Cade talked about getting people to eat mud. And closing things out for that common room, Cade and Raleigh talked classes, good and bad.
That night and up one floor, Scott had pizza and bad MTV shows to keep him company through the night. But that wasn't all! He also had Vider who shared information about venom bites and Loki to Scott's confusion. And Stiles checked in, but couldn't partake in any pizza due to dental problems.
Moving to town, the staff at Luke's was unhappy and Dean couldn't figure out why. Dani toughed through an illness at the Gig and provided the horses with the care they deserve.
Puppy Joe was taking a nap under a park bench, which just made Derek sigh. Isaac was surprised to find that there was a dog under all of that fur, then called Derek bad names because he was mean at the welcome picnic. Derek had to explain Puppy Joe's origin story to Tamsin and she did not sound convinced by it. And Kenzi stole Puppy Joe for a sleepover, leading to Derek sending an angry text to Bo.
Speaking of Bo, she was putting up very specific signs about gnomes not being allowed in the Devil's Nest. Tamsin came in and was mistaken for Dinah, but once that got straightened out, Bo got her up to speed on the drinking ages at the bars. And because that was just brought up, Bo was well aware that Kenzi couldn't get a drink no matter how nicely she asked. They ended up discussing the new teachers. Soberly. New Jack was curious about the sign, and Bo was happy to throw Tiny under the bus for that one. Herc was also curious, and that inspired Bo to list off some of the things worse than gnomes. But Allie was still gnome-focused when she stopped in for a drink.
