Fandom Radio, Monday, July 29th
Hey all, Korra here and judging by these notes, I had a better weekend than most of you.
There are even notes for the School, about how Billy was in the Library when Astrid came in to congratulate him on... mind-controlling Topher into a relationship... I hope for Billy's sake that was just the crazy talking. Other school news involved Dr. Lecter sleeping in his office.
Over in the Dorms, things were pretty quiet. Victor was shirtless in his room when Tony came by and between the terrible Spanish and terrible puns they ended up in bed together.
Town, on the other hand, wasn't quiet at all. Things were normal enough for Sparkle in Demon Marcus, Flick came in and got an offer to tour Baltimore instead of clothes. Girl Sam was multitasking at Portalocity, when Ol-...Not-New-Emma came by for food and make-out and chess. Okay, even I know there's a time you shouldn't be multitasking. At least not like that.
The Perk didn't have Derek, shirtless or otherwise, but it did have Mira making foam art. Cade came in without a shirt and got dirty foam-art on his coffee, while Jaye's idea of working was to watch videos on her phone.
Ben and Ender showed up at the Causeway and there was kissing and hopes the crazy would be gone by today.
Three Spider-People had a fight on the roof of the radio station, Jono and Didi caught up in his apartment, and Dinah and Momoko watched overPriestly because he was in an emu-coma.
Bay was walking in the Graveyard, as you do and ran into Didi and they chatted, Eponine also showed up for a chat with Didi which was apparently much more angsty. Eponine spent her non-graveyard time having a lovely romantic afternoon in the park with Frank. I thought Frank was a demon goat?
Nonny was also in the Park later, making Pinkie cry. Not cool. Raven tricked her into taking off a ring and Nonny decided she wasn't going to watch the show any more. What show?
Apparently there was some kind of Convention in the Community Centre for a show called Fandom High, complete with merchadise hall. Now I'm even more confused. Megan had on a shirt saying 'Showrunner' and bought and autographed picture of Barbossa. Kelsi ran into Alex while buying stuff and Alex convinced her to give her super powers which she used to destroy Kelsi's ring. Astrid was looking for autographs but John Constantine wasn't inclined to give her one. The Tick bought an Anakin Skywalker mask...which was just as confusing to Professor Skywalker.
There were also Panels and lines to get into them. Kara was tweeting while dressed as Principal Winchester who was more impressed with the costume than the controlling Barbossa with powers. Hannibal was checking out the panels when Kara turned him from a werewolf into a vampire. Right. Mercy was confused about the whole convention thing, and Kara was proud of her for being single and Native American which just confused her even more. Kenzi got Patrick to buy gremlin repellent and tell her about his powers, which he demonstrated by making Doctor Doom appear then fall into an emu-coma, Kenzi promptly stole his ring and his wallet. Finally in the Future of Fandom Panel The Tick and a squirrel convinced Megan messing with Fandom was like killing kittens and she should stop. So she did. Also something about gorillas and clothes.
Just to be on the safe side, he marched the fans back across the causeway.
Then things went back to normal. Spiderwoman was in a tree, and Kenzi's loot disappeared. Kitty, who'd been moping in her apartment because she'd been stabbed and cheated on, recovered from her stabbing and Clint came by to apologise and make up with her.
Jaina was drinking on the job at the Devil's Nest, fully clothed. Batman told her he'd been non-existent for the last three days, and Jack Priest told her about being a fireman.
Make that relatively normal.
