Fandom Radio, Monday, June 17th
Hey, Korra, here and looks like you all grow up to be kinda chatty.
Nothing much happened at School or the Campgrounds, except for Maddie leaving a voicemail for someone at the Crocodile Pit.
Town on the other hand, was kind of busy. Allie was watching flamingos at dawn in the park, when Mitchell showed up to play count the vampires with her. While Cole and Phoebe were...having fun in their hotel room, as were Momoko and Jaime...in a different room.
And there was brunch. Man, was there brunch. According to a hungover squirrel, people arrived. People like Envy, who was put out to be called Natalie by Tara before they talked marriages, Alec was also confused by the name change but apparently it had something to do with being a musician. Jack Priest got hugs from Dinah who was impressed with how Emma looked. Topher might want to apologise to the squirrels for stepping on their tails, they're being kind of shouty about it in the notes. Tim reminisced with Gywn, and Genesis had a book, which led to talking with Surreal about poetry and literature, of course he admitted to Victor that it was actually a zombie novel. Angela and Savannah were their own ages and happy to see each other.
There was also food, because you can't have a brunch without it. Victor got stuck into the bacon, good choice. Jim was in his uniform, which confused Cade until he told him women liked it, and then Cade offered to show off his new tattoos, Cara snarked at him about the uniforms but he teased her right back about being in 'loooooooove' with Surreal, then he and Envy made fun of each other about names and commitment. Gert was drinking all the coffee when Victor stopped by to talk about his wife and kids and fighting evil. Toby ate food and got kisses and talk about houses not being there when they got home from Kenzi, who then went to tease Cara about still being grumpy and glarey. Ender recognised Sparkle from his classes and they talked about trying to get back with Alex. Clint was texting his kid when Kitty came by to tell him about Stiles and Derek...not being particulary respectful of other people's clothing.
Additionally, some tables didn't have food on them. Cassidy was sitting at one when Surreal came by to talka bout how Cassidy's friends were worry warts about her safety on the island. Old Anakin gave Jaina a hug and they talked about showing off for newbies. Tara was just generally happy, but even more so after talking with Ben and Surreal about retiring. Topher teased Ender about Ben, who then talked with Tony about getting a good night's sleep, and floating desserts happened. Somehow.
Petter and Sam LaCroix got into posturing over being Natalie's friend, then Envy came over to ask Peter if he'd been talking to Sam just then. Stiles talked with Jack about his dad wanting grandkids, before finding Kitty to tell her about the jacket incident. Dinah was enjoying the food, when Priestly came over to tell her nothing had attacked. Because this is Fandom and that's necessary.
Also there were trees, many of which died to bring you this information. Toby spotted Sam and made him laugh. Mitchell wore sunglasses in the shade and talked with Jack and Chloe Saunders. Gert suspected that Cade got his Bloody Mary under false pretences, and Ender told him to ignore Peter. Jono played his guitar and got offered a job by Emma. Sholeh was sitting quietly under a tree when Sparkle threw berries at her and got a hug, and Genesis offered her a book and an apology. Derek lurked and Stiles came to warn him about Clint, they decided the best course of action was to have sex in a jeep.
Post-brunch, April walked her three-legged dog along the beach, while Sam skated on the boardwalk and suggested people would think Envy was stalking him. Sholeh and Even had dinner and caught up with each other at the Arms, Topher was nostaglic in the Warehouse District, and Ben and Ender celebrated Father's Day at Ching Tai's with dinner and no kids.
Tiny forced Jaina to work at the Devil's Nest, which surprised Eric, Tino was on his own at Caritas, and Stark was business as usual at the Clinic, right down to the cupcakes.
