Fandom Radio, Wednesday, June 5th
Hey everyone, this is Clint Barton, dragged out of bed yet again for your Wednesday news. I know, I could get up early, but making the squirrels do some work is so much easier on me. Let's see here, over at the school Kaidan wasn't around for Combat Tech, but the students went ahead and did some target practice anyway. Smart move on their part. Dr. Banner talked burn classifications with the First Aid class--always a cool, if gross topic--and the students had to go about classifying burns from pictures. The Try Not to Die class went to beautiful Dubai where they had to either weigh gold or assemble hookahs, and then go down a six story slide to hopeful victory. I still say that sounds more fun than something to whine about. Finally, the Hitting Things 101 got to do some sparring; Cade told Jessica she didn't seem particularly into beating him up, and she explained she'd had a rough weekend, and Alex and Anakin used the sparring experience to get to know one another. See, better communication through fighting, it's a beautiful thing.
Over at the, uh, bouncy castles... I'm sorry, I'll stop laughing about that eventually. Anyway, Jim was trying to relax and not get bounced too much, and Anya took the chance to properly introduce herself, since they're castlemates and classmates. In town, Ben was talking to Ender, who was a stuffed dragon, about his class when Ender became a naked person again. Can I just say that the naked part is adding insult to injury? I'm surprised there aren't more regular reports of accidental streaking. At Luke's, Bay's idea of there being Spice Girls at the diner didn't go over well with the staff. Eponine was in a good mood at the post office, and got a visit from Kenzi, who wanted to show Eponine some websites and encouraged her to get a cat. *cough*Dogs are better.*cough* Speaking of dogs, April and I let our dogs do their butt sniffing thing at each other while we got caught up, and there was some costumed girl jumping around the roofs of the warehouses where she met up with Spider-Woman and talked about how the island doesn't really have that much crime. I know, that's kind of weird to be around, right? Glad it's not just me. Emma was doing inventory at the Devil's Nest while Kitty was jotting down ideas on napkins at Caritas. Coulson asked Kitty to come up with something creative, which I'm sure she did perfectly, and I talked to Kitty about her list-making, which was about what she could teach during the second part of the summer, because molding impressionable teenage minds is just that enticing.
That's everything the squirrels handed me, so I think that means I can go back to bed, which is awesome. Stay safe, everyone.
