Fandom Radio, Wednesday, February 13th
Good morning, everyone. I've been lured out of my bed this morning, so it must be Wednesday again. Let's see what everyone got up to yesterday.
At the school, the Public Speaking students got to practice making persuasive speeches by selling stupid late night TV crap to each other, and Petra was the press secretary this week, answering questions about boy bands and glitter. The Industrial Arts class talked about cars--aww, nice!--and got to poke around inside some of them, although Anakin and Cade were less than impressed by the technology, or lack thereof. Hey boys, don't knock the classics, even though a car that could fly would be cool. Or a motorbike. Sorry, got easily distracted there for a second. In There Will Be Cake, the students had to plan a meal for two for Valentine's Day--
*curious chittering*
Yes, I remembered Valentine's Day is this week. I mean, not on my own, but I have nice lady friends who save me from messing things like that up most of the time. That still counts, right?
In the dorms, Loki was selling tickets for the school's upcoming dance. You guys let him be on your council? That doesn't seem... never mind. Elsewhere, in one of the common rooms, Jim was on an XBox, playing computer chess with someone over the internet. That's both nerdy and kind of awesome at the same time.
In town, Derek was... baking cupcakes for Valentine's Day?
*excited chittering*
For Stiles? What--okay, I know I'm going to regret asking, but what's the flag for?
*more excited chittering*
What?! Put that away! What the hell is wrong with you?! I can't believe I got dragged out of bed for this. Okay, Derek was baking, for reasons that do not require flags of glitter. I swear to god... Kitty came by and apparently helped with the frosting because--look, Kitty, if you're listening, we need to talk about this "encouragement" thing you're doing, because I know you're trying to be nice, but.. no. Mike disapproved of the whole thing like a sensible person, Pinkie--well, of course she helped and she seems to have sung a cupcake song at him too, so she's fine. Jack mocked the whole process too, because again, some people know how to be sensible.
In town, the lacrosse club met up in the park and practiced to stay warm, and Ace took some time to play with one of the squirrels--yes, she's wonderful, stop making those noises, you guys--even though Jackson didn't approve of it. At Stark Industries, Victor got forced into a singalong as he tried to clean up whatever the people working there over the weekend did to the place, at Caritas, Kitty was running a special on red, pink, and purple drinks, and at the Perk, Stiles went on a date with Kate. See! That's just awesome. Kate had Mardi Gras beads, and they ended up talking about wolves while Derek creeped around outside and watched them which is not okay and I swear to god if you don't put that flag away it's gonna end up shoved somewhere you don't want it to be.
That's all I've got here, which is good, because I'm more than done. Have a good week.
