Good morning, Fandom!
*thunk*
Those are all the notes for today?! My heavens, things were busy! The most exciting thing that happened to me was Jims cutting a molar, so let's see what the rest of you were doing, shall we?
In classes, Mr. Oz had Pop Culture learning about cultural hegemony--long word for such an early part of the morning--and brainstormed about ideas of cultural revolution to counter it. Ethics class had a pop quiz about their ethical choices. In the library, Mr. Sabahnur was distracted from his reading because he had a date tonight--more on that later--and Miss Yeul paid a call to distract him further by bringing in hot cider. That sounds delightful!
*chittering*
No, rum isn't the same thing.
In town, Miss Connell was quite sleepy at the hotel, Mr. Sabahnur and Miss Sholeh went on a date to the bookstore and then Il Pollo, and Miss Navaan was doing inventory at the clinic.
And then last sunset, a rock in the woods did what?!!! That's blasphemous! The dead stay dead until Resurrection Morn. Everyone knows that.
*very loud chittering*
Fine, I'll read the notes, but then I'm cutting off your rum supply.
*horrified screeching*
Mr. Hale met up with his sister Miss Hale and there was crying after a small murder attempt in lieu of a proper greeting, Mr. Mancha reunited with his mother who promised to buy him a new coat--sounds like my mother--and Miss Surreal attempted to, I suppose, re-kill her mother before hugging her and crying as well. Mr. Cade had a very unproductive reunion with his father that had him stomping off into the woods. If I had family beyond the veil who, well, didn't do their good Christian duty and stay dead until Gabriel's horn rang, I would be more polite than that, Mr. Cade. Perhaps he ran into Miss Cara while he was there, as her meeting with her father went less smoothly as well, though at least her father followed her when she tried to get some air. Miss Borgia reunited with her love in what I'm sure was a very chaste and proper reunion.
Improv class's game of Top That was interrupted when Mr. Starsmore great-grandfather paid a call, and Miss Cara ended up at Caritas looking for tequila, hopefully interrupting the minor zombie revolt. Were they upset that their family members didn't also come out of the rock?
Mr. Priest and Mr. Alenko's evening was disrupted by a visit from Miss Williams, who is supposed to be dead, and Mr. Stiles, who is still alive, was waiting at Mr. Hale's house for him to return. He got a phone call from Miss Pryde and explained someone named Kate Argent to her, and then was frightened almost to death himself by Miss Hale, generally deceased. Mr. Lane dealt with all of this strangeness by cooking, which I cannot fault him for, and then he and Mr. Hale got distracted from talking about Mr. Hale's currently not-dead sister by discussing their sofa.
The Atreides family reunited with their aunt Alia, Miss Sekemoto had to explain to her mother that she'd...been turned into a vampire, which I cannot imagine being the most wonderful news ever, and Miss di Glacia and Mr. Worthington's...rendezvous... was interrupted by Miss di Glacia's dead parents, and that's what you get for being like that outside. And unmarried.
At the club whose name is also blasphemous and also incorrect, as I don't believe...that man...lives in a nest, Mr. Northman--
*excited chittering*
--is looking for another DJ. What happened to the old one?
*more chittering*
I'm not that excitable, but all right, I didn't want to know that much. He has the club listening to ancient Norse music, which was apparently a giant draw last night. At the bar, Miss Titian order blood winehttp://texted3times.livejournal.com/7281.html?thread=174449#t174449, and Mr. Priest caught up with his friend, Miss--Belutsotskerova? I do hope I got that right. Miss Frost expressed pleasure that Mr. Priest had someone come visit him--I'm not sure this is something that you really want, is it?--and then pointed her brother out to Miss Belutsotskerova. Miss Gregson was very surprised to see Mr. Trane, the most aggressively gay boy in the bar, as she explained to Mr. Priest. What's wrong with being cheerful? Miss Frost wanted to know if Miss Gregson had been having strange dreams in the last few days. Miss Frost's first reaction to seeing her brother was to yell at him for dying in the first place, and Miss Montenegro picked a very strange weekend to just come back to the island for a quick drink, and Mr. Octavius was celebrating being alive again in the same manner.
In the VIP section, Mr. Northman was hit upon by Miss Navaan, and then he told Miss Solo that he could sense his visitor even before the man had shown himself. That's rather handy! He also met Mr. Priest's guest with the impossible Russian last name, and Miss Gregson wanted to know if the drinking rules applied on a night that had gone crazy. And then Mr. Northman's friend Mr. Godric arrived, but their conversation was mostly in Swedish and long looks, so that's not very interesting.
And finally, in the dormitory, Miss Thorne was in her room studying Japanese and not visited by anyone dead. Miss Marin was not so lucky when her friend, Miss DiLaurentis stopped in, insulted our island and refused to say who murdered her. That is not polite. Insulting the island, I mean. I was never trained in the etiquette of posthumously revealing murderers. It doesn't tend to come up at home.
And Mr. Brink was watching zombie romance movies in the third floor common room. There are zombie romance movies? Why? WHY DOES THAT EXIST. Mr. Mancha told Mr. Brink about his visit from his decidedly non-zombie mother, and then for good measure, Mr. Mancha told Miss Bishop about his mother as well. Miss Bishop mocked Mr. Brink's taste in movies, as well she should, but then he explained that the last time he'd tried to change the channel away from something awful, the whole town had turned black and white.
That's all of the notes from here! Have a good weekend. I will spend it barricaded in my room, thank you very much.

Hopefully easier to pronounce, but still way too long.]

Jack's birth surname is Vražda, which is both unpronouncable *and* probably not a real last name, let alone a Jewish one, in Czech.
... sorry for the digression.]
