Good morning, Fandom! Rilla Blythe here on this rather nippy morning! But I'm Canadian, so I find it bracing, rather than incredibly--who made you all of those scarves?
*chittering*
No, they're lovely! I just didn't know you...accessorized.
In classes, Pop Culture learned about advertising. They looked though magazines and discussed what was being sold and to whom. And Ethics class was marooned on several boats.
*pause*
There's something rather wrong with that class, don't you think? Miss Korlov, Mr. Laufeyson, Miss Yeul and Miss Surreal argued about...not eating each other. Alright. And Mr. Po and Mr. Mancha couldn't see Mr. Frost on their boat. How large a boat was it?
In the library, Mr. Sabahnur was getting books out of puddles--oh no! Water will ruin them!--before Miss Zhari stopped by with a casserole for his birthday. Miss Yorkes was there looking for books about dinosaur health care because her dinosaur is ill.
Miss Solo was a little nervous about finding gremlins in her office until she got a call from Mr. Ben Skywalker, who she then yelled at quite a lot for being out of touch so long. Mr. Barton also discovered that he has an office but didn't seem as concerned about gremlins as Miss Solo. Miss Adams stopped in to get Mr. Barton's assistance in buying a bow, Miss Pryde gave moral support when she learned Mr. Laufeyson was in Mr. Barton's class last week--Mr. Laufeyson is lovely! Why wouldn't you like him? Miss Bishop also paid a call and talked about adjusting to Fandom and...coffee makers.
In the dormitory, Miss Thorne received a gift of music which she was enjoying until Mr. Mancha paid a call, and they talked about their classes and music. In the second floor common room, Miss Adams was there with Mr. Wiggin, who was a fox. Well, he's certainly attractive--
*chittering*
--oh, an actual fox? Mr. Brink recognized Mr. Wiggin immediately and asked what Miss Adams plan was for when Mr. Wiggin turned back into a human, Mr. Cade was very entertained to learn who the fox was, and Miss Adams told Miss Thorne that, yes, sometimes people turn into animals. I turned into a china doll one weekend. It was quite dull.
In town, Mr. Starsmore and Miss Lizzie Bennet held their class at the Boards and had their students play a game about the alphabet. I'm certain it's more complicated than the one I play with Jims. Mr. Starsmore also announced that auditions for the spring play will be soon. Miss Karla also asked Mr. Starsmore his opinion about a...drunken karaoke video.
Well that sounds classy.
Miss Romanov returned from a trip home and got updated on the island by Mr. Barton, Miss Navaan was enjoying the story she was writing at the clinic, and Miss [Kenzi's last name] was drinking on the job at Caritas. I'll add her name to my prayers tonight.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
