Fandom Radio [Friday, December 21, 2012]
Good morning, Fandom! Rilla Blythe here--
*off-key singing of Silent Night*
--joined by some incredibly tone deaf gremlins today, it seems. Let's make this a quick radio in case the spirit of generosity and goodwill toward men leaves them and I miss my train back to Glen St. Mary because I've spent the afternoon believing that I'm a tea cosy.
Classes, of course, are over for the term, but that didn't stop Mr. Sabahnur from being very conscientious and doing his shift at the library. He was having trouble trying to read in the dim light--don't do that! You'll go blind!
In the dormitories, Mr. Rand was having his own issues with the lights, namely being all tangled up in them. Did he turn into a kitten?
*chittering*
Just clumsy. Alright. Mr...Cade...gave Mr. Rand a gift that Mr. Rand contemplated re-gifting to Princess Marasiah, who is apparently not thrilled with him. There are some depressed-looking glitter-flag holding squirrels right now, though they point out that Princess Marasiah stopped in after, with no excuse other than she wanted to. Personally, I think they're grasping at straws.
In town, Mr. Priest took Miss....goodness, that's a very interesting name...Sekemoto? Did I pronounce that right? shopping for Christmas gifts. I was completely finished with my gifts until Jims ate four pairs of socks on Wednesday. Mr. Darling was confused by the new lights inside the store I won't talk about, Mr. Stilinski was shopping via computer at the Perk while looking like, according to Miss Abernathy, at least, he lost a fight with a polar bear. Goodness.
Mr. Barton and his dog--in matching hats!! went for a walk yesterday. I tried to dress my kittens in doll clothes when I was younger. They didn't appreciate it. Maybe I should have tried it on Dog Monday instead, though he's really more Jem's dog than mine. Miss Pryde declared them to be quite adorable, though I suspect she's a little biased, Mr. Coulson and Mr. Barton talked about their lack of holiday plans, and Miss Sekemoto told Mr. Barton what she'd learned about Christmas thus far. I do hope it included information about Jesus. It's not all polar bears and Santa Claus and singing gremlins, you know.
*sounds of gremlins beginning to sing Angels We Have Heard on High*
On on that note, I have a train to catch! Have a blessed Christmas, Fandom.
