Fandom Radio- Wednesday, December 4
This is Jaye, and welcome to Wednesday. You're almost off school, kids and teachers, just keep remembering that. People who just live in town... sucks to be you.
SCHOOL
Anakin apologized for being a teenager in Ethics, and strangely my notes say nothing about making fun of the braid he had. Clearly the squirrels must have gotten that wrong. Anyway, they went over the Lady and the Tiger story and tried to figure out the ending. Did she see dead people? That's my guess. Combat got some inside info on their final, so if you missed class, sucks to be you, and Cade thanked Jaina for the detention- what- and then she asked about some of the stuff he said when she was sixteen. And Mad Science and You- oh god- had... huh, a pretty normal class with a fake visit to a place called Isla Nublar.
...Something weird had to have happened. Unless this is what reporting on this class for a semester has done to me. It's messed with my head enough to know something had to have gone horribly wrong even when I haven't heard anything like that. It's not paranoia if they're really after you.
That, by the way, is still kind of paranoia. Just saying.
And Electroclash was all grumpy over a fight with her boyfriend. So if you're her boyfriend, look what you did.
DORMS
Oh, look, actual dorms notes! You guys are still alive up there!
Jeremy hung out in the fifth floor common room with pizza, but the TV would only show cycling. Maybe it thought that's what you wanted to watch. Victor told Jeremy the TV's not sentient, but he wasn't sure that was a good thing and I'm not convinced that's even true. Stiles wished the TV would show porn instead, thus proving that he is in fact a teenage boy, and he and Cade were reunited after a couple days where Cade totally sold all of Stiles' stuff, for reals. Tony promised Stiles they'd fix the TV and insulted Canada while they're at it, and Tony and
Jeremy wondered why rich kids don't just buy better TV's. Because that's easy, that's why.
Topher tried to blame Stiles for this, and he and Cade talked about Stiles having a tail...? and the ethics of seeing your roommate naked. There's a lot of talk of porn and nakedness for a common room playing cycling. Stiles denied having anything to do with this and defended lacrosse to Topher while he was at it, and Cade asked if the pizza was for everyone and also cycling sucks. Doubt anyone'll disagree with you. Tony and Cade agreed that Topher has issues and also they should go see strippers sometime. You see? Porn and nakedness.
Finally tiring of all of this, Topher, Tony, Victor and Jessica took apart the TV, but then it only showed sitcoms from the 50's, so you all have fun with that.
TOWN
We'll start out talking town early in the AM while Allie was in the park for the sunrise, and she and Kaidan talked about him being a teenager and what she would have been like if she was changed for the completely hilarious week. Victor had a totally normal day at Stark Industries and he should cherish it while he can, and Hanna was finding things at Demon Marcus that she also found in her fashion magazines. Sounds like work.
*chittering*
Shopping is work. I've worked retail, okay?
At the Devil's Nest, Max was playing with toys he got from the island yesterday, and at Caritas, Kitty was decorating. She decorated the zombies, people. And then Clint stopped by and they talked about how they don't mind the holidays as much because they have each other.
*sounds of gagging*
