Fandom Radio- Wednesday, November 21
It's Wednesday, and this is Jaye. Which means that tomorrow... *sigh* Look, if someone could just like, knock me in the knee with a tire iron or something so I miss my portal today, you'd get my undying gratitude. And probably a lawsuit for my medical bills, but don't let that stop you.
SCHOOL
So school was quiet, I think because everyone's pissed they have to teach and go to class when Thursday and Friday doesn't. I know I phoned it in this week.
Anyway, Mad Science and You had giant robot suits, which I'm sure couldn't go wrong at all, and I feel like I say that every week. Ethics talked about the ethical dilemmas involved in power swapping, and hey, I wanna know about the ethics of other people letting their thoughts into my head for a weekend. It's just rude. And Combat had a Danger Shop issue so they watch- Okay, I'm pretty sure they didn't watch wombat porn. Because I don't think that's a thing.
My god, I hope that's not a thing.
DORMS
Not much going on since I'm sure everyone's fleeing, but Jessica was doing some baking up in the fifth floor common room. As for how the cookies tasted, the squirrels are making the universal sign for "eh."
*chittering*
Yeah, we all know you think they'd have been better with rum. That's kind of a no-brainer at this point.
TOWN
Victor spent his shift at Stark Industries texting about Thanksgiving, and then ended up making Thanksgiving predictions with Olive. Someone will get drunk, someone will bring up politics, at some point everyone ends up screaming and at least one of the side dishes is something you have to pretend to like to spare someone's feelings. There. Those are my predictions.
Lizzie- I have no idea who that is. Must be new- held an improv workshop at the Boards, and they had to come up with scenes inspired by fortune cookies. Bucky worried that she wanted people to come up with their own lines, but silly cat... that's all I've got there. They all paired up, with Max and Jono suing Burger King, and Lizzie tried to pair with Bucky but he didn't like his future. You know what they say, never work with kids or talking animals. Trust me on this.
At the Devil's Nest, Max was rapping about Thanksgiving, which probably means he should lay off the pumpkin pie vodka. Jack came to check in on him and got to talking about home, and over at Caritas, Kitty was walking through all the things and probably giving people heart attacks. Like Clint, who as a little worried about how Kitty apparently forgot to get dressed all the way.
THAT. That also goes on my Thanksgiving predictions.
Good luck and godspeed, Fandom. I'll see you on the other side. Remember: tire iron.
