Fandom Radio- Wednesday, October 31
Happy Halloween, Fandom! This is Jaye, and I'm apparently planning on spending my day living only on fun size candy bars and suckers.
And before you ask, yes, the squirrels are stealing anything with nuts in them. Thieves.
SCHOOL
Students got a double dose of Jaina today as a sub for Ethics' movie day, and as a regular teacher in Combat who made her students pair up to learn teamwork or something. Mad Science and You... did the Monster Mash. Like the graveyard smash thing? Huh. I'm not judging... much.
Pajama Club curled under blankets and watched scary movies, because it's the end of October and it's cold so why not.
...I think I'm going to do that next. With some fun size Twix.
DORMS
Still not much in the dorms, which makes me wonder if you do this on Tuesdays just to make me wonder what you're up to. All there was was Jim plotting Halloween stuff in his room. So, basically, no one trust Jim today. He might trick you.
TOWN
Over in town, Mike found a couple werewolves in his basement, which makes total sense on a Tuesday morning, and over at the Boards, Jono had the place open to help decorate for the haunted theater. Yeul got to learn all about Halloween that way, and then got to explain it to Rapunzel. You dress up and get candy. There's nothing to explain.
*sound of chewing*
*still chewing*
*and still chewing*
Sorry. Caramel. Takes a while. Karla told Jono she could bring him a spider but couldn't help with anything else, which is oddly specific, and Mercy apologized to Jono for not talking to him on Friday and he had to say she's not weird. I'm sure it makes it better to hear that announced on radio.
Victor was wet from rain and working on a game console at Stark Industries, and Olive came by and heard more about androidness. Millie and the nurses talked Halloween at the clinic, Hanna wasn't all wet over at Demon Marcus, and Karla tried to make the staff at Cafe Luke's change the decorations to less creepy things. Maybe she should have given some of that to Kitty, who was decorating Caritas. But not the zombies. Because they're zombies. Meanwhile at the Devil's Nest, Max was looking for last minute Halloween costumes when Alice came in for a drink and failed to be impressed by his mad bartender skills. Maybe next time.
So that's it. Don't eat anything with razor blades in it, make sure you check if the girl dressed like a slutty librarian has a boyfriend before you hit on her, and please don't drown bobbing for apples. That leads to lawsuits.
