Fandom Radio [Friday, September 28, 2012]

Good moring! Rilla Blythe here and today is the beginning of Parents Weekend. On behalf of the Student Council, welcome to our island! My voice is coming over loudspeakers and through something called a radio--no magic involved!

*chittering*

Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with magic, if that's normal where you're from. If it's not, well, people say strange things sometimes! Yes!

But today will be very busy, so let's get through these notes so we can make our visitors all feel quite welcome, yes?

*chittering*

Or find good hiding places. *sniff* In classes, we had a very disturbing class with Mr. Warner, having to hide the bodies of fake children. Plus the song is still stuck in my head. Drama wore black and white and pretended to be stuck in invisible boxes. How Not to Do Stuff did nothing on a beach, and this class souds like a complete waste of time.

The music books in the library were excited that Mr. Sabahnur was learning about classic rock yesterday. Wild Roving investigated the cheapest way to travel that isn't hitchhiking, I presume. I've heard tales. Mr. Alenko got in touch with Mr. Nolan to be sure his friend could stay with them this weekend. Lacrosse met in the park and learned how to pass the ball--ball, right?--back and forth. They practiced and Mr. Hale lurked in the shadows to watch them and how has he not been arrested for being creepy?

*chittering*

I don't care if he has a puppy. It's still creepy. Mr. Stilinkski asked if Mr. Whittemore was expecting visitors today, which was much less creepy. Miss Tyler received a letter in her office, and Mr. Skywalker received Mr. Solo in his office, where they caught up on news from home.

In the dormitories, Mr. Lightwood chatted with the Mr. Mancha on the roof...and the rest of you were cleaning your rooms in preparation for today, I guess.

In town, Miss Solo had her brother, Mr. Solo stop by her apartment to talk about his trip home, Miss Bishop set up a new display at Surf's Up, Mr. Darling fixed a display of shoes at Dem--that store, and Miss [Kenzi's last name] made poor Mr. Tino do the work at Caritas last night.

That's all I have! See you at the picnic!
