Fandom Radio [Tuesday, September 18, 2012]
Good morning, Fandom! Rilla Blythe here--
--and it's not Friday morning. I think the squirrels have been in the, um, medicine a bit early today. Let's get through these notes and maybe I can convince the squirrels to go to bed for the day without their bottles.
In class yesterday, Philosophy class watched...Mega Snake. That doesn't seem very philosophical to me, but maybe the essays they wrote would fix that? How to Start a Business talked about the importance of office space, and a Tale of Two Lions--should that be tail with an "ai"? No?--discussed how having money is better than not having money. I agree! Everything in this time is ridiculously overpriced! They decided how they would spend money--hopefully on food and shelter, then clothing and adorable hats. Mr. Murdoch watched helplessly as the dragon books attacked the medieval history section of the library, and the Science--
*chittering*
Really? I have to say that way? Fiiine. SCIENCE! club met for the first time yesterday and made introductions, as is only polite. Mr. Brink was surprised when Mr. Mancha introduced himself as an android--HE'S AN ANDROID?!--and Miss Gladys the advisor was upset that there wasn't enough testing. Clubs are supposed to be jolly, Miss Gladys, and tests...aren't.
In the dormitories, Mr. Rand was in the fifth floor common room watching card games on television. Mr. Lightwood was as confused about the concept as I am, so Mr. Rand explained it to him. Miss Marin's mood was lifted when she returned to her room and had a kitten waiting for her--that always cheers me up--and Mr. Brink was cleaning his room by shoving everything under his bed, which is not really cleaning. Mr. Mancha paid a call and was distracted by the robot dog on the bed instead of the giant mess under the bed, and Mr. Nelson wanted to know why there was a robot dog in their room, which really is an excellent question.
In town, Mr...Cade was juggling very expensive electronics in Stark Industries, which seems quite reckless, Mr. Priestly was surrounded by acorn squash at Cafe Luke's, and Mr. Priest was beng harassed by...speed metal? Is that really fast iron or something? Miss Penderghast was waiting with her puppy--you have a puppy!! for Princess Marasiah so that they could go on a walk together. They spend much of that time trying to teach their animals not to chase squirrels--
*chittering*
The squirrels here say thank you. Mr. Mancha learns that Miss Penderghast's dog is a very fierce guard dog who will protect her by being quite adorable. Mr. Jackson played on the beach with Mrs. O'Leary--is that a teacher?--and Mr. Doyle was homesick at Caritas and was drinking rum--
*interested chittering*
--you've had quite enough of that, I believe. Hmph. He and Miss Solo decide that a little bit of trouble right now would not go amiss but they are very wrong. If we get invaded by rampaging squid or somethig, you know who to blame for it, Fandom. With that, have a good morning.
Watch out for squid just in case, all right?
