Fandom Radio [Friday, September 14, 2012]

Good moring, Fandom! Rilla Blythe here, very sad to report that the adorable puppies and kittens seem to have departed the island overnight. They were adorable while they were here though, weren't they?

In classes, Mr. Yakko had chihuahua with him in class today as we learned about Mexico, and then we had to wash puppies. I'm sure it was also educational in...some manner. Mr.Sabahnur was visited by more tiny animals in the library--I do hope they didn't chew on anything--and they also played with puppies and kittes in How Not To Do Anything, which sounds like they're doing something to me. We played "Drama, Drama, Die" in drama class today--basically spinning a story, nothing violent--but the squirrels seemed more excited about the cute kitten Mr. Odinson had. Wild Roving had a movie day, Miss Tyler had a crying kitten in her office and Mr. Skywalker had a grandson, a crying baby and a nagging toddler in his. I'd stay clear of Mr. Skywalker if I were you.

But I do that anyway. He's scary.

The dormitories were also full of puppies and kittens. Princess Marasiah was getting licked by a puppy in her room. Her roommate, Miss Penderghast--hello, Olive!--tried to get her to keep one of the puppies. Mr. Rand got hit by a ball while he paid a call to Princess Marasiah and while he wouldn't keep his little animal, Princess Marasiah began reconsidering whether she would keep hers. If she did, Mr. Rand promised to babysit it. Mr. Stark was in his room wondering where the animals came from, and Miss Brown stopped by to tease him about how long it took him to notice that they existed. Mr. Brink came in looking for his puppy and they talked about the...dog and cat food chain.

NO ONE BETTER BE FEEDING THE KITTENS TO THE PUPPIES

*chittering*

I wasn't that loud. Miss Korlov wasn't happy about the cats, Miss Marin received a phone call, and Mr. Nelson was trying to figure out which animal came from which ball. Please don't say you were trying to put them back! Mr. Lightwood was surrounded by kittens in the fourth floor common room, and Miss Penderghast came in to argue the merits of puppies and kittens. Mr...Sparkle and Miss Penderghast were quite pleased by the puppies and kittens yesterday, which led to discussion of the internet and--

I'm not going to talk about that. I don't even know what that word means. Mr. Sparkle and Mr. Lightwood talked about how Mr. Lightwood didn't eat junk food, which was apparently some kind of tragedy? Miss Clock came in riding on one of the tiny puppies--really?

*chittering*

I'm not disparaging your journalistic integrity! She was riding one. Fine. Apparently she normally rides on a rat instead. Ew. Mr. Lightwood suggested that if she couldn't steer the dog, perhaps she shouldn't ride the dog. That seems like solid advice to me. Mr. Kirk got advice from Mr. Sparkle about removing a kitten from his shirt because as Miss Penderghast also learned, Mr. Kirk doesn't really love animals. He ran the idea of putting a chimpanzee--did we get those too?!--into his roommate's bed by Mr. Lightwood so if he did it, I'm so sorry, Mr. Kirk's roommate. Miss Clock told him a story about how she'd once been flung from a slingshot. Ohhhh, so Miss Clock is quite tiny and not just being cruel to animals.

*incredulous chittering*

That wasn't at all clear!

In town, Cafe Luke's was being overrun with puppies and kittens but Mr. Priestly didn't seem to mind. Miss....Electoclash was visited in her apartment by Mr. Gardiner and they confessed to their lack of pet care experience. Mr. Odinson had many more animals in his house than he'd had at class, which concerned his brother Loki who feared smothering. Miss Solo was being teased over the phone about her new animal friends, which doesn't seem that friendly.

Miss T'Soni--did I pronounce that correctly?--was talking with Miss Nsu-Yuel--is that right?--and of course they were talking to each other to make my broadcast complicated...as the rain of puppy and kitten balls--

*snickering*

I don't see what's funny about that--hit the beach and they each ended up with a pet. Miss Pryde was trying to jog, which turned into watching a cocker spaniel puppy play, which turned into a conversation with Mr. Hale.

*chittering*

Who lurks a lot. Thank you, yes. In more playing with puppies and kitten news, Miss West, Mr. Darling, Mr. Murdoch, and Mr. Aaron were all playing instead of working their shifts. Mr. Barton had animals in the gym yesterday, as well as visits from Miss Pryde, Miss Adams, and Miss Romanova. That's a lot of girls.

*sounds of sketching*

Ohhh. Those are what his arms look like? I understand now. Miss Ludgate found a three legged puppy in a ball at the Perk, and Mr. Stilinski found a kitten in the park and let it play with his lacrosse ball. Mr. Brink and Mr. Stilinski made fun of the names they'd given their animals--I must admit that Baron Meowface von Whiskers is a pretty terrible name--and Miss Dean hoped the animals would only be around for a short while. Mr. Hale was having no luck getting his puppies to stay, and Miss Pie tried to get Mr. Stilinski to join in the song she was trying to teach her new friends.

Mr. Stark--not the student--was in JGOB with some cream for his kitten and a cupcake for him! Miss [Kenzi's last name] was juggling bottles at Caritas--oh dear--and Lady Susan was at the Devil's Nest, minding her new black kitten.

And that's all the notes I've been given! Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
