Fandom Radio- Wednesday, August 22

It's Wednesday, which means you should know who this is by now since you've been listening all summer and this is our last week before the influx of newbies, some of which decide they want to talk at you on a weekly basis. Or some of which might be related to you. Or know you from another timeline. Or look like someone you know. Or look like you.

Enjoy the picnic, folks!

OFFICE HOURS

There wasn't really school today, but people were I guess doing some kind of work during their break week, which is insane. You guys are insane. Well, okay, Kennedy was packing up her office, so I guess that's not really work. Raven came to say goodbye, and there were promises of going to a nude beach in Brazil. Well, that's a field trip. Anakin didn't have the packing excuse, but he does have two little kids to escape. Okay, fine, teachers, you're both forgiven. Kennedy came to say goodbye but promised nothing about nude beaches, and Raven said her goodbyes and told him no teacher will ever be as wonderful. He can't grade you now, you can stop sucking up.

DORMS

Ender waited on the roof for Ben, but first he got a visit from Sparkle- which flopped at the box office, by the way, much like Glitter, proving that people need to stop naming things after shiny things. Anyway, he said he missed Ender in class last week and they talked about Fandom weirdness. Ender told Tony how glad he is to be leaving, and Ben finally showed with coffee, and they got all nostalgic for what they'll miss and sunrises and sunsets.

A squirrel just started making retching noises but I honestly don't know if he's commenting on all the diabetes potential from that last note or if he's had too much rum.

Ben also hung out in his room with pizza, soda, a Tony, and some video games, with Tony telling him about how they put crickets on their pizza in China. Okay, no. No. No one is allowed to be a world power if they put bugs on their food on purpose. That's just the way it is.

TOWN

Victor was at Stark's trying to repair a blender while cranberries fell from cabinets. Can you call someone to fix that? I don't know, like a gardener or something? What do you call a person who specializes in fruit? Call that person. Kaidan was working on datapads at the Perk, and Clint was working out at the gym, which people tend to do at gyms. Not-Alec was more interested in talking, though, talking to him about his classes and working on a team, and Kitty came by for date-making and makeouts. That is a better thing to do at the gym, okay.

Kitty was also dealing with Tino's new romance at Caritas, which is just gross. Tino should never, ever get any. Topher came in with proof of live action Angry Birds and they planned the next game night, Angela asked for the most ridiculous drink on the menu, and she and Kitty talked about whether rickshaws are weird or to be missed when you go home. Savannah came in to meet Angela, which was a Daisy Duke's Dirty Panties. Which is apparently not only a real drink, but one that gets set on fire.

There. Now you can go through your day with the knowledge that that's a thing. You're welcome.
