Fandom Radio- Wednesday, August 15
So it's Wednesday, which means you have me, and congratulations to all the students for finally getting out of school for the summer. Is it depressing, getting out of school for a couple weeks when the back to school commercials are all over TV?
Anyway, let's talk about classes!
SCHOOL
Seven Deadly Sins went with sin #7 this week, wrath. The students either got to meditate, or they got to break stuff I think I'd go for the first thing, only because I could probably pass off napping as meditation. In Sex Ed, Ronan let the students ask him about sex, Modern Technology got to play with cameras, e-readers and mp3 players and choose one of the three they'd pick. That's just mean. Especially when that class last week gave them iPads. And Heroes and Villains got to fight teenage girls with superpowers, which... would totally happen here.
Over in office hours, Zoe was shooting gremlins with a water pistol, and I got to visit Anakin, where he wasn't quite so lucky with the gremlin. Oh, there was a bite. I have video, and yes, I am willing to sell the footage. And then Kennedy worked on her lesson plan and got brought paperwork by Bobby, talking about how weird it is to go to college. No, it's not. The weird part is that your professors there don't hallucinate due to gremlin venom.
TOWN
And again nothing happened in the dorms, but in town Jono had April over, where they started with talk of gremlins and gay boyfriends. I'm not sure if that means a boyfriend who's gay, a boy friend who's gay, or two boyfriends who are gay. Everyone pick one, it'll make things more interesting. The gremlins ruined Bruce's meditation at Wellspring Arms, and Sam was working Guilty as Charged where Toby came to hide from singing gremlins. How were there not more bites? Yesterday should have been a free-for-all! I feel cheated.
Victor tried to fry a gremlin at Stark's, but that didn't go well and didn't end in a bite, Mary had more gremlins at the Arms, and Emma's community center class skipped gremlins and discussed psionics. There were gremlins playing onstage at Caritas, where they got ignored in favor of Clint questioning Kitty's pants. Sometimes I say sentences on radio and I don't understand how it happened.
Anyway, that's all the notes, so enjoy the off time you have until you have to go back to class again.
