Fandom Radio- Wednesday, July 11
Happy Wednesday, I guess. Do people say that? Am I making up a thing here? Anyway, you all didn't do a ton yesterday, so thanks for dragging me down to the radio station for that. Be more newsworthy.
SCHOOL
In Sex Ed, Ronan got into the technical stuff about what happens to the human body around sexytimes. I wonder if one or more students aren't going to come out of this class traumatized. In case the lecture didn't cover it all, Ronan was also answering questions and made Sparkle his TA, which I'm pretty sure is unrelated. Heroes and Villains had an exercise where they had to catch a bank robber, but they had sponsors who made them wait for a commercial break to finish first. I don't get it. Does everyone not have a DVR? They talked strategy first, with Surreal wondering if waiting was going to get her more money. Good girl.
Seven Deadly Sins covered envy this week, except for how it's not deadly because it doesn't affect anyone else. Unless you stalk them and start boiling rabbits or something, anyway. Don't stalk people and boil rabbits. This has been a PSA. Then everyone got to pick someone in the class and say why they're envious of them before discussing whether they think it's a sin to be jealous. Then Natalie got to blame Fandom for why she wasn't in class last week. I'm sure at some point or another people are totally faking Fandom weird just to ditch class. Modern Technology for Absolute Beginners had a substitute. Yakko. Subbing. How's that for a shock, class? He taught them about light bulbs. And the Clapper. Do they still make that? And then they figured out how many students it takes to change a light bulb before settling in for a light switch rave.
Cassie was checking out romance novels at the library- hope you didn't mind everyone knowing you read Harlequin- and Kennedy made some phone calls in her office. And if you're looking for Darcy, she got sucked into locker 327 so... she's somewhere. Probably.
DORMS
Cara's clothes got wet in the rain.
Seriously, that's all I've got.
TOWN
Millie and the nurses shares books at the clinic, which I only hope is medicine-related, Bruce was at Wellspring Arms geeking out like a geek at the Higgs bosun thing, Frank had to deal with a shop full of balloons at Turtle and Canary, and it doesn't say whether he tried to make balloon animals out of them, but if he didn't, he fails at life. Look, I would never do it, but I think others should entertain me.
Sam was talking to himself at Guilty as Charged, which
Natalie joined in on before talking about people and working on a skateboard. Weird couple. Mary had a puppy companion at the Arms, Emma was asleep on the job at Dite's, but she was more awake to teach her community center class later, where she offered to let people invade her brain to see the astral plane, where the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains. Which is totally, totally normal. Except how it's not.
Anyway, I'm done passing judgment on everyone else for a week. Till the next.
