Fandom Radio- Wednesday, June 20
It's Wednesday, it's Jaye, and is it me or does this feel like a really long week?
*long pause*
No one asked you.
Anyway, let's get to it so I can get out of here and go back to bed. If I'm allowed...
SCHOOL
It's finals week- Wait, really? Huh. Well, Photography students, your assignment's still due next week. In Survival Skills the students had to make it from a Danger Shopped school to the campgrounds by the end of class. All while fighting zombies, raptors, and zombie raptors. Oh my god. Did we have zombie raptors and I missed it? I so could have sold that footage to the Syfy Channel.
21st Century 101 got to tell Steve what they learned, and in Is Love a Tender Thingmovie day except for Yurika proposing to Romeo in the middle of class. That's so sweet I could throw up. Oh, and he said yes, in case anyone was wondering.
And Kennedy was in her office working on her final, but if you just accept you're not going to top a proposal now, it'll take a lot of pressure off.
CAMP!
Over at Compe Tent- I hate whoever makes me say things like that- Juliet was working on her tan and her monologue for the summer showcase. Frank brought her a marshmallow and bitching over the tents, and look, it's not so bad if you know how to work with it: with lots and lots of alcohol.
God, I miss Seahorse.
And at Por Tent, Percy was eating his lunch and staring, at least till Lukecame back from what Percy decided was a spiritual journey. I'm sure it was.
TOWN
At the clinic, Millie was listening to the nurses talk about their sex lives. You know, why do the squirrels never report on them? Are they fugly? What's going on here? Mary very much did not mail any letters at the Arms, so if you're Gunther, you get to yell at her. Bruce Banner was looking up treatments for radiation poisoning at Wellspring Arms, and that's a cheery little note. It's a shame we can't end on it.
But no, let's talk about Frank finding peeled clementines at Turtle and Canary. I don't know what those are other than Girl Scout cookies. Those have peels? Emma was at Dite's writing out party invitations, Victor found the ceiling at Stark's dropping with ketchup... You're sure that was ketchup, right? And Sam LaCroix was doing repairs at Guily as Charged when Natalie brought him lunch. He might have been in the only business where lunch wasn't waiting on the floor or ceiling for him.
Finally at Caritas, Kitty was offering free drinks for anyone who could unbore her. This got April juggling for a drink, and Yakko... oh dear god. There was a song, a trebuchet, and a Warner trapped in a water bottle.
And that's what we're ending on. Oh, Fandom.
