Fandom Radio- Wednesday, April 18

Good morning, Fandom! This is Annie Edison, reporting to you from WTFH Radio! I'm filling in for... Miss Tyler, who should not be trusted on radio this week asked me to come down today. It'll be like old times.

And I'd like to say hello to our esteemed school board members and benefactors who are still here! Though I have to say if you're taking a vacation, Fandom is a good place to do it.

SCHOOL

In Criminal Justice class, Professor Carrick reinforced his position that we should all stay on the right side of the law, and then we had our final exam. After settling in, Health class also took their exam, with Lizzi checking with Professor Rogers on how the class was doing. I'm sure they were all doing fantastic! We strive for excellence here at Fandom High. In fact, we thrive better when left unchecked. I know. Debate even encouraged the school board members to participate in our final, which was giving a speech on something we believed in strongly. Professor Alistair got a visit from Mr. Howell, who was concerned about the... rippingness of his uniform, and Professor Morrigan and Mr. Howell discussed how he's looking for a real estate agent.

….

That's... great! I hope you're moving someplace nice and warm. You know Maryland does get really cold in the winter months. Which is not at all our fault and can be blamed entirely on geography. Also, climate change.

In his office, Professor Skywalker... attracted some admirers. I know I respect him a lot, too. Professor Tyler came in to talk about finals, and Raven told him how some of her friends had recently gone on vacation. And Vice Principal... Deadpool came to say hello. Principal Winchester had a very important message for the other administrators, and she just so happened to mention to Professor Skywalker that Mr. and Mrs. Howell are planning on staying. Which I really don't think is a good idea. It's great here, but it's so normal that it's actually a little boring. That's what everyone says. And it's very small, there's nothing to do on the mainland and I hear the taxes are astronomical. Your entire retirement fund could go right to the government. You don't want that, do you? And Stephen Colbert came for an explanation of why everything is just so friendly around here. It's because they have to be. Because the taxes would make them sad otherwise.

DORMS

Rebecca was headed over to her room, the one that she's always had, and Lex caught her on the way to discuss... really creepy things. Don't be gross. Susan spent xtra time on her hair this morning, and Mercy also went to her usual room.

Caroline was reading a wholesome novel in her room, and she and Jacob talked about taking a little vacation. But not in a shacking-up, sinner kind of way. I'm sure their parents would be there to supervise. Seifer had a minor issue with his roommate that he is probably right on the way to resolving, and in the second floor common room, Ender read. Yep, just read. And then Kenzi wasn't sure she wanted to know what was going on... because she might get sucked into the story. Not literally, of course. And then later that day, Butters was catching up on celebrity gossip. Because you know what they say, better to gossip about celebrities than your friends!

Also because there is no gossip. Seriously, it is really boring here.

On the lawn Britta- oh boy- was having a totally sanctioned bonfire on the lawn, but just couldn't get the fire started. Darn. Well, that's probably for the best. Topher told her he wasn't in the mood to hang out at a bonfire tonight, and Lizzi told her it was probably not the best idea in this weather. Petra wasn't in a very bonfire place either, and Susan was assured that Britta would keep trying to make the bonfire fun if she had to stay out there all night. I don't think that worked. Quinn stopped by to say hello and have a bit of a friendly debate, and then there was a squirrel.

*loud, angry chittering*

Oh, sorry, don't mind that noise. Seems like we're having a little bit of trouble with our equipment! Please stand by while we deal with this minor technical difficulty.

*three minutes of Yanni plays*

TOWN

And we're back, and the technical problem has been shooed out the door! I mean, taken care of! Where were we?

Over at the Arms Hotel, Mary did a good deed and made a lot of new friends thanks to it. Sam LaCroix was hanging out at JGOB when Gideon... made notes on his uniform and started asking him questions about Natalie. That sounds completely normal! Samus was going over paperwork at Turtle and Canary like a responsible business owner, and Jon did some fishing. Which I'm sure was part of his job as the owner of the bait shop. And not just recreation.

At Caritas, Kitty was offering half-price drinks for guests to the island! See, that's sweet. Professor Deadpool talked to her about kids' shows and annoying Emma. In a playful way, I bet. Lisa, um, flirted and talked to the professor about the little green-

Oh, hey, look, this page cuts off. I have no idea where that sentence was going, but I'm sure it was somewhere totally normal. Kitty assured Lisa that she only looks young and is old enough to serve drinks. But I'm sure it was a compliment! At Salutations, Anna was tending the door, which is a completely reasonable way for a young girl to earn her own way, and explained to Edna that she isn't able to wear the uniform for religious reasons. That's true. I'll back her up on that. Edna also ran into Professior Lannister at the bar, and they seemed happy to see each other. Awww.

And that's all for me today! Have a great day, Fandom, and remember, nothing ever happens here. Ever.
