Fandom Radio, Monday, April 2nd

Mason: So this thing with the squirrels, it happens often?

Cara: Once a week.

Mason: They're kind of cute.

*pleased chittering*

Cara: If you like fuzzy drunkards, maybe.*shuffling papers* Here, make yourself useful and help read these out.

School

Raven's daughter Elisabeth was in the Library with her. Dalia, who's Jono and Didi's daughter, came in because she wanted to met her half-sister. Also joining her was Eirene, whose father is an Anakin.

Mason: There's more than one? Here I thought the deal with Aunt Kahlan and my sisters was complicated. Dinah's daughter Lena, so came by, wanting to know which of Raven's brood had shown up.

Dorms

Mason: Up in the Fifth Floor Common Room, Bruce and Terry were arguing about Terry's future adventures in babysitting and Bruce's taste in television. What's that?

Cara: A machine that hates Bruce. Rebecca came by with a kitten, and proceeded to talk with Bruce about Terry like he couldn't hear her. Britta was hungover enough to think the kids are part of some elaborate joke of Bruce's, because his sense of humour runs that way. Julie talked with Bruce about Kate and distracting werehyenas.

Mason: Luke's son Aritaseus, told him he was given a stupid name. I've heard worse. Peter's two girls Lilith and Genevieve sharing a bed, before he talked with Lilith about the future. Elena accidentally ended up at Peter's room and asked him on a study date. He said no. Topher and Maria came by, Peter and Maria didn't get along. The squirrels are shocked by this. Kenzi brought Vlad by to see if Peter was his father.

Cara: Topher and Maria had a breakfast of Doritos and Mountain Dew...at least I gave you real food. Billy came by and met Maria, then his and Topher's daughter Antonia showed up, watch out for the glitter.

Mason: What glitter?

Cara: That glitter. Kenzi dropped in as she continued her search for Vlad's father. Apparently it was a definite not Topher.

Mason: Cara and I sparred in the Gym, while Bobby, Sookie, and their children Henry and Charlotte made cookies in the Sixth Floor Kitchen.

Cara: Loki was reading in his room when Alex and their son Salamander Sparklepants McGee came by for a joyous family reunion.

Town

Mason: All these pages are for the one place? So apparently the Perk was busy.

Cara: That's one way of putting it. Jack Priest was there about his and Emma's teenage daughters, Amelie, Annika, and Christiana. Triplets, apparently. Also making his appearance was his teenage son Felix.

Mason: Who proceeded to get into a fight with Annika. Because picking fights with girls is always a good idea. Then Amilie started teasing Nommy about his facial hair when he came in for coffee. You think I'd look good with a beard?

Cara: You've seen Richard's attempts, right?

Mason: Yes?

Cara: You really think you'd do better?

Mason: I get your point. Could have humoured me though. Nommy then talked with Jack about the girls and life in Kaleer, and had Charlotte and Henry demand information and offer him cookies. Then he was attacked by a ball of feathers, and had his mother, Karla, fret about his drinking. Nommy didn't have such a great day it seemed.

Cara: Aren't you glad now I just made you train? Jon threatened to tell Karla's kids stories about her at school, while Kyle's coffee choices led accusations of being a hipster.

Mason: What's a hipster?

Cara: I still don't know, except that it apparently involves confusing people like Felix with words like "econo-corporate establishment", and I don't know what that means either. Also drawing criticism from Christiana was Jon's muffin, which lead to apologies from Jack. Charlotte and Henry introduced themselves to Jack, and were spoiled by Karla with chocolate. I'm sure that ended well.

Mason: Elphaba introduced Jack to Lurlianna, her daughter with Karla, who was kind of surprised by that. Powerful magic?

Cara: Probably. Isabel came in with Victoria, Katrina greeted them and got to hear about how Victoria isn't allowed to vanquish demons yet. Jack got introduced to Victoria when he talked with Isabel, and then Parker and Isabel got caught up. Then Karla flailed about girls hitting on Nommy to Isabel, Christiana, and Jack.

I have talked with you about that, right? You're certainly old enough to know.

Mason: Yes. You have. So did Richard. And Aunt Kahlan. And Zedd. One talk would have been enough. One. Parker and Karla compared childen. That ball of feathers flitted around Jack, while Katrina tried to help. And apparently the reason Parker and Katrina came in was to get pastries for everyone at Ronan's.

Cara: And to talk about somewhere that isn't the Perk, Sam LaCroix took his daughter Ada to the Park. Ellie claimed that Sam was her other parent. Congratulations? While Sam was pretending to crush buildings for her, Ada told him about how her mother sang. Kate also brought her daughter Julie to the park.

Mason: Meanwhile, over on the Beach, Percy and his daughter Anna, played and talked about the future. Billy also took his children to the beach. Butters was working at Stark Industries, when Derek came in and wanted to know about his porn name, whatever that is.

Cara: I'll explain when we're done here. Blysse was trying to explain this weekend to the horses at the Gig, when Lily came by for hugs, confusing her by being older than last time. Fenrir the wolf also came by to see his mother, Blysse.

Mason: This place is weird.

Cara: You noticed. Over at the Arms, Momoko puppy-dog eyed spoilers out of 'Berto, later in the day Dinah and the rest of the kids were in the room when Karla came by to drink away their troubles, though there was also made with hugs, glomping and destroying a toaster. Momoko and Lena talked about what they were up to, and 'Berto and Dinah talked about school. Kayla had angst, reactions to which included sympathy, annoyance, and pizza. Jaime and 'Berto fought, which lead to cookie baking.

Mason: Billy took his kids to Chilly Boulder for 'ice cream', Piper and Lindsey went to met their daughter Lynn at Ching Tai, and Rinoa wasn't sure a family dinner at Il Pollo was a good idea. Since it apparently involved Squall getting hit for rolling his eyes at Seifer's daughter, Sylvie, Sylvie and River poking their tongues out at each other, and Pluma the ball of feathers zapping Sylvie, I'd say she was right.

Cara: Ronan was also hosting a family dinner at Outback Steakhouse, Hercules suggested getting the kids drunk would make them easier to deal with. Ronan tried to escape, but Isabel wouldn't let him, then he told Jack about how he got a sword pregnant.

Cara & Mason: Powerful magic.

Mason: Caled and the triplets decided to waste food by through bread at people, while Pandora and Peach tried to figure out a seating chart, and Emma decided to blame Jack for everything. Ronan wouldn't let parker escape if he couldn't, Wyatt was in denial about the sword baby, and Gawain thought people at the dinner were demons. I'm beginning to understand why we've been sticking to your rooms for meals.

Cara: And Anakin's need for coffee in dealing with children means we're back at the Perk again. Rory, who's pregnant, agreed this was weird, and Juliet did not approve of having a big brother.

Mason: Raven came by with her daughters, and apparently... Littlekin? Is the father. Dany took Rhaego to the Park to meet Lucrezia, who in turn introduced them to her nephew Juan. Also making introductions were Tyrion and his daughter Joanna.

Cara: Susan was not happy with the music at the Devil's Nest. Dalia and Maria got their hands stamped for being too young, Rhaego didn't want his hand stamped, which led to Dany having to apologise for him. Maria drew diagrams on napkins, which drew Dalia's attention. Eric enjoyed his lack of children.

Mason: At Caritas, Guy was drinking on the job, which doesn't seem like such a great idea. Conner talked about his dad, and was surprised Guy knew him. Jaye wanted all of the booze after dealing with her son OJ all day. Lena just wanted something fruity.

Cara: And proving some things never change, Stark had cupcakes and children at the Clinic.

Mason: That was the last page, are we done?

Cara: Except for the rum. We both need it after that.
