Fandom Radio, March 21
Hey there, Fandom. I have an announcement. Friday's my eighteenth birthday. I will not be here for it. Therefore, all of your gifts can be left at a shrine outside 417. I'm just sayin'.
Also, it's March and I'm wearing flip flops because I'd like my feet to be uneaten by my socks. Watch out for your toeses, boys and girls. You don't think they're necessary, but walking without them would be weird.
Edumacation
Spy Tech talked about secret communication devices. I have one of those. I keep it in my purse most days. Forensic Science apparently didn't kill anyone this week, but there was talk of Ami's coma. A bit of a stretch, but hey. US History learned about World War II, Engineering learned about engineering... Okay, it was specially mechanical engineering, but I don't know what the difference is between all the kinds, so it's all engineering to me.
Hunting 101 tangled with zombies in a swamp. That would be an awesome movie in the genre of Snakes on a Plane. ET Civ had Anders guest speak. I kind of want to say that's cheating, but I don't feel like being all "omgwtf" cuz that'd be lame.
The, Professor Roslin, Deadpool, Aly, Hot Mountie who I do not have a crush on, Daddy Winchester, Ares, Professor Next, Professor Noblet and the rest of existance held office hours, while the office was open.
So was the library. I have awesome segues, don't let anyone tell you any differently. Cheerleading also got some practice in, where Chad checked up on Annette, who gave some support to Alec. Who hasn't called me back after I left a nice voicemail and everything. Dork.
Living Conditions
Miley hid behind a fern in the hall today, apparently believing herself to be naked. Don't get modest till you've collected a few bills. She got coverage from Nadia, Sokka and John Connor. Apparently no payment, though.
Valentine spent part of his afternoon walking around the halls with a paper megaphone, bitching about not getting his latte. Is it me, or is everyone acting weird this week? Everyone except me. Alec had the wrong clothes, was only moderately attractive, and there was talk of billing and stunts, and I have no idea. Will was yelled at about script rewrites so she demanded a paycheck. Smart girl. Naomi fled after being called an uninsured dancing girl, River was going to rescue a rubber chicken, Henry got to hear about the latte, like oh my god, just go to the Perk. Sokka got help in making masks, 6 almost got fired, not that I know from what, and Miley called Valentine a pervert for filming her naked. I hear you can sue for that. And emotional distress.
Also, I'm the crazy one?
Parker and River compared weekends, Ami had some reading time, which I can kinda see. I mean, you just come out of a coma, you probably don't want to revisit it by jumping off a bridge or something. Best to keep it simple. Gwynn got a letter from home, Tannim woke up with one of those apparent 'what did I do yesterday?' problems, Ami asked Sak to help her to learn how to fight, and Pippi and Walter had some problems with slobbersome socks. That could have been a great 90's indie rock band name.
Dawn and Sam- note, not Cute Sam- had a kind of awkward meeting in their room, Pip's cat defeated some socks, Sokka and Valentine- sorry, Valenteen- worked on costuming issues. I don't think it's dirty. Chris and Summer named her bunny- again with the not thinking it's dirty- and Wyatt and Chris squeed over their mom meeting their dad. I question nothing anymore.
Annette and Dick went back to her room after Caritas drinky fun, English Pony invited everyone to Willow's birthday party on my day. Psh. Jack studied and got a visit from Isabel and it was a good thing you interrupted his studying, Izzy. We can't have that in school. Irulan battled socks, and Bridge and Z went exploring. Did they have hijinks? I bet they had hijinks.
There was a belated birthday party for Ami in the common room, where she, Billy, Tori, John Connor, Naomi and Rikku made with the singy. There were presents and Rikku thanked Ami for setting her up with Jude and Ami and Tori thought it was a great party. Well, yeah, again, there were presents. Naomi and Sak were told they had to do karaoke, and wow, no one has to be karaoke, ever. And Ami and Ranma meeting caused Ranma much blushing.
And Valenteen filmed his great epic in a common room. Yeah, because when I think 'epic', I think 'common room'. Tannim got yelled at about being careful with the set, Alec was given a costume and told to roar with soulpain. I have no idea who this Artoo kid is but I will pay you for this footage. Dawn was bullied into being in the movie, while Sokka almost made Rikku pissed at him, and if there'd been a fight it could have been part of a bullying theme. Rikku didn't want to be a rubber chicken. Oh, come on, show your range! Miley was supposedly shot naked some more. I'm starting to think the problem is Miley, not Valenteen here. Will was recruited as a writer, and then the film was shot. And I bet it was glorious.
Out and About
Parker and Jack went for an early run, though I can't imagine why anyone would want to do such a thing. Tori started work at the bookstore, with Millie checking in on her. I feel like maybe I should educate Tori on the ways to get a little bit more free time out of work, just becausxe Lana never seemed to listen to me. Annette conned John Connor and Dick into coming to see her at work with promises of hugs and peeps. Seriously, there's so much potential dirty in there I can't even start.
Agatha picked up groceries at Turtle and Canary, which I just want to call T&C, so I will. John Connor snagged a cupcake from church and found out Rosette's not feeling great. Xander spent some time hanging out in the Perk and introducing Mel to Twinkies. Again, not dirty. Though there are messy ways to eat a Twinkie. Don't as me how I know, just take my word for it. Xander shared pie with Bridge. My notes actually say "sadly not dirty," but as I always thought of pie as a female dirty thing, it's probably actually a really good thing that it's not. Also, Mel and Bridge discussed snot monsters.
...If those invade Fandom, I'm gone so damn quick, people.
Agatha and Teddy talked about potentially dangerous stock at Sparky Repairs, and I'm kind of hoping that's dangerous like 'might fall on you during an earthquake' rather than the dangerous like 'might gets it wires crossed and go on a killing spree throughout town.' Lana took the afternoon shift at the bookstore, Deadpool ended up sparring with John Connor at the gym, and Cafe Fina had a UK Food Challenge. Does that mean they managed to make the food not suck?
Rosette, Deadpool and Shuichi got together to watch America's Next Top Model, and I'm kind of sulking over it. The show, not them all getting together. Agatha and John Connor had dinner together, The Devil's Nest was open, and at the clinic, Wilson stocked up for future badness, while Natalie reportedly got her cybersex on. Everyone needs a way to pass the time.
Finally, Caritas- hi, Jarod, I talk normal now and where was my call at 6 am?- had a Teal Dear performance tonight. Jarod met Tori, who told Chad she liked the music. I've heard them. They don't suck. Jack and Jarod have a truce going on, yay, Turtle and Annette had a peanut fight while Chad and Teddy had boykissy time. Rose got an accent out of Jarod AND I MISSED IT. DAMMIT. And even though Chad made sure Dick knows Annette has big scary friends, it didn't stop Dick and Annette from getting drunk and having aforementioned room time, so Dick, if you wake up at 6 am to Chad at the door, it's your own fault.
That's it for me tonight. Beware the socks!

And she too was certain that there were hijinks where Bridge and Z were concerned.
[OOC: Hee! Very nice! :D]
