Fandom Radio, March 7
Hi there, Fandom. So I spent the whole week listening to the radio and realized today that woe, I didn't have anyone to bring in the booth with me. I made a couple calls, and lo and behold, I have a special guest. This is my friend Arthur.
*silence*
He's not invisible, or imaginary. He's just very very unobtrusive.
Edumacation
Spy Tech dealt with disguises. Dick and Annette got into a latex fight. Not that kind you'd expect, though. Annette tried to get Anders in on it, but he might have been too busy thinking over Parker's idea of musical intervention. Which makes me want to think she bought him tickets to Felines or something. Forensics learned about time of death by finding poor dead Conner under a bridge.
*silence*
Yeah, I know, Arthur, I'm singing that song too, now. You wanna take this next batch?
*long silence*
Thank you, Arthur. Engineering had a test, and Lucas stayed after class. ET Civ had some guy named Spock come in to talk. Spock? Doesn't he write baby books or something? Hunting investigated a possible werewolf attack. Sak was offended at the trend of helpless female victims in class. It's not really being a damsel in distress if your entrails are already tossed around the room, I think.
US History talked about stuff, but I'm more focused on the thing about vats of boiling metal. Willow wanted to know about using plague to thin the herd, and I'm all for that. As soon as I take my Emergen-C. Creative Writing learned about dealing with writer's block, which is probably why Turtle and Hamlet helped each other with their stories. Turtle got detention, and Nadia asked the teacher about... I can't read that about someone I have to see every week.. Suffice it to say there are some days I'm convinced they're going to make a bad TV movie about us. Maybe on Lifetime.
The, Professor Noblet, Sakura, Deadpool, and Principal Washburn held office hours, Abby got a delivery, and Ms. Readman opened the library.
I'm sorry, Arthur, I'm so used to dominating, I forgot you were here. Did you want to cover office hours? You can take this next bit. It's about clubs.
*silence-but-not, which includes the sound of Jaye yawning*
And the cheerleaders practiced. You're so awesome, Arthur.
Living Conditions
River hung out in the fifth floor common room with popcorn, ice cream, and drawing stuff. She and Buffy talked about what they've done in classes recently, and Blair told River about giant tongues in the Wastelands. ...If that's a new dirty club in town, I'm so not going.
Nadia jumped in puddles on the roof in the rain. Arthur was totally out therebut I think he was at the bottom of the post. Walter tried not to get too wet before work, while Dick and Nadia had fun splashing, but woe for there was the aftermath of wet socks.
Naomi got calls from home, Phoebe and Bel- dude, weren't you dead or something? You big faker. Anyway, they woke up snuggly, Henry's not feeling too great, Zero finished her project- ZERO I WANT TO SEE IT. SERIOUSLY, I WILL PAY YOU.
Blair walked around the halls- this is news?- Steve and Neil dealt with a powers misfire, and for that I forgive you for missing America's Next Top Model, Steve, and that's the only reason, Alanna and Faithful are statues... Again? ...Can I decorate them?
*pause*
Yeah, it happens, Art. Blame it on Fandom.
Tori, Sokka, Lucas, Chad, and Mel all got together at Molly's and decided to find Katara. Willow left her room to her roommate for a while, Billy went for a run, and Pippi decided to let the rain indoors. As you do.
John Connor did some studying, Jack escaped the rain in Sam's room, Chad came back to a Teddy in his room, and by that I mean the person, not the bear or the lingerie. Jim brought Pam birthday presents- happy birthday, Pam!- and Sokka totally crashed.
Valentine channel surfed in the second floor common room. He remembers Rikku, who gave him explosives once, and yeah, that would make her kinda memorable. For instance, I'm remembering both of these names right here because they can essplode me. Turtle and Valentine- can I call you Val? Anyway, Turtle and Val talked about work over cocoa, Nova arrived for masked guy solidarity, Teddy made sentences out of word fragments, and Irulan kept to the lobby, watching the rain.
It's water, people. Occasionally it falls from the sky. I don't get the fascination.
Oh, and neither does Arthur. Who's totally still here.
Nadia shared special brownies in the fifth floor common room which is after the last fifth floor common room I reported, and Big Faker wandered down for foodstuffs. Anyway, Pippi, Sak, and Stark were all "Wtf why aren't you dead?" See? Until I stop reporting conversations like that, you keep the nickname. Anders and Big Faker were all giggly, Sak and Nadia were philosophical, can't imagine why, Annette pretended to be Blair, and okay, if you were Naomi, Dick, Al, Anders, Pippi, Stark, Billy and Bridge, you were there for the brownies. And now the DANK people know who to Talk To first.
Out and About
And now we take a break for Arthur- Oh, screw it. Chrono opened the church, while Chad opened Empire, Teddy opened Sparky's, and Lumiere was drunk and demolition-minded at Cafe Fina. Walter was offering free towels, but after the demolition ref, I kinda just wanna see something get randomly bulldozed.
Lana was told by Clark that he's gonna be a daddy so he's leaving town. ...Running away is not the solution to one's problems, Clark. At least front the child support or I'm totally going to see you on Judge Alex, I know it. Rose and Aiden avoided the rain by chatting at the Perk, Leo tried to hand off brownies to Snickerdoodle, Turtle kicked Apu and helped Willow find a gift basket, and I think she's had a very productive day.
Moist... Um, what?
*squirrels chitter*
Seriously, that's his name? You poor thing. I must meet this person, and find out if he's even been on a talk show, because if anyone deserves to be on one... Anyway, he hung out at the post office, Big Faker and Phoebe, John Connor, Liz and Ami were all at the clinic for various reasons I assume during Wilson shift, while Natalie had a much quieter time.
Schrodinger took voice samples at the Devil's Nest, and at Caritas, Jarod- hi Jarod!- had a mop in hand. I'm gonna guess it's for cleaning and not like, beating the zombies about the head or something. Mostly because those probably come off. Jack and Jarod were morally gray, which... okay, now I want to know how that conversation went. Parker and Jarod were kinda awkward, while she and Jack were woeful, Jarod and Xander compared cats and dogs and pudding and pie, or at least I hope so, and not all at once. Xander and Parker talked about Isabel while Emma and Jarod talk about Deadpool. I have to say, I kind of love telling everyone who's talking about who. It makes me feel good inside. Miho and Jarod had a non-conversation conversation in Japanese, and Parker and Emma talked about designer zebras. ...I'm gonna leave that one alone.
Okay, so that's all for me this week. Stay tuned next week when something interesting happens, I'm sure.
