Fandom Radio, Monday, March 5

Seely: Evening, Fandom, you're listening to WTFH Fandom Radio. Seely "Whatever Happened To My Spring Break?" Booth broadcasting.

Alec: And this is Alec "I Went To DisneyWorld, In Your Face Sam"... I don't have a last name.

Seely: That bites, and kinda makes having a cool radio nickname hard.

Alec: Dean's offered his, but that might make things a little awkward. Anyway, don't we have radio to do?

Seely: But just imagine the look on Sam's face. If the irate looking squirrels are any indication, yes, yes we do.

Classes, not really missed, but back regardless

Seely: Okay, first off we have Fairy Tales, who are doing Immersion Studies, which sounds vaguely dirty, but is actually criminal, as the students commit grand theft, livestock rustling, and homocide, although they may be able to argue a jury down to giantslaughter. Nadia likes to watch. Whatever revs your engine I guess.

Alec: Conner's asking 'Phale to watch Lana, which I'm hoping isn't dirty, given the student-teacher regulations. And Billy doesn't want to play due to the holes in his head. That's gotta suck, man. Hope things get better for you.

In other class news, Pop Culture learns about club music. I like whatever's got a beat you can grind to.

Anakin's back -- holy crap, welcome back, man! -- and he's teaching Ethics, much to everyone's relief, I'm sure, as they discuss what they learned from their partners. I find that body language is good to pay attention to, especially.

Seely: Dean talks with Sam about what he did at Disneyland apart from Alec, which was hunting Imps. You know, most people just go on the Teacups and Space Mountain. Jaye has much glee at seeing Professor Luke's Dad, which fills me with a deep and abiding fear. Sir Lord Professor Dark Darth of the Vader Sith is the topic of much discussion, with Blair, Balthier, and Valentine all asking about him. By all accounts, Professor Luke's Dad is most unimpressed.

Alec: Hey, shooting Imps while three foot tall dolls sing "It's A Small World: The Obscene Version" wasn't exactly the original vacation plan. The celebratory aftermath wasn't bad though.

Anyway, Schrodinger asks after Vader as well and wants to know if Anakin's a clone - nothing wrong with clones, man. Turtle is disappointed to find out Anakin's not a temp. Miss the heavy breathing, Turtle?

Media Studies learns about propaganda, hopefully not with any attendant brainwashing or the like.

Conflict Resolution learns about "intractable conflicts" - which are probably not easily resolved, given the name. The students have to write essays, which makes me glad I'm not in that class.

Seely: Bel is nervous.

...I thought Bel was dead. Wasn't there that whole memorial thing? I'm pretty sure there was a memorial. At least I heard there was a memorial.

I think.

Zombie!Bel makes quite the impression, temporarily freaking out Marie, causing Conner to boggle, and throughly confusing Annette and Summer. Ladies, you're not the only ones.

Alec: Blair excitedly passes notes to Bel. Check yes, man, or you might break his heart. Tori smiles and waves, apparently thinking she's in a parade, and Pippi "waves like a spazz". I think he must have died, or people really missed him over the break.

Luke apologizes for missing the midterm and Bel apologizes to Wilson for trying to kill him, which seems like a way bigger infraction than missing your midterm.

Seely: Fitness learn about Capricciosa, a Brazilian martial art. I believe that hot wax in sensitive places is involved.

Those DAMM students are incensed, and try to make other people incensed as well. Wyatt tells Phoebe about a little side effect her spell had, and I'd be making jokes about calling yourself little but I'll refrain in the interests of good taste. Bridge passes notes with Dawn, aww, Bridge, be careful or her boyfriend'll break your arms.

Alec: The office is unsurprisingly open and Captain Liberty has office hours and two visitors, namely Luke and John Crichton. Sokka stops by during Ms Frizzle's office hours, but both Mr LaForge and Ms Tyler are left in peace - or possibly dance naked on their desks. You never know around here.

Seely: And Professor Readman opens the Library, yay!

Dorm, if they're a rocking...

Seely: For you kids in Dance Club there's a poster in the halls, about punch and pie apparently.

In other dorm news, Phoebe convinces Bel not to ditch, Bel, man, being dead is a one in a lifetime excuse to ditch and you just threw it away. Chad and Teddy snuggle, awwww. Cassie comes back to her room, which would be even more newsworthy if she'd come back to find a wacky new roommate or something. Jake gets a birthday voicemail and presents.

Alec: Phoebe talks to Anders about their hookup and telling Bel all about it, which is not smart, believe me. Marie tests out her newly-controllable powers on Willow, which again seems like a less than awesome idea, and Hermione gets some mail. If you need any more knitted things, by the way, I'm starting a whole new box.

Elsewhere, John and Aeryn talk about Isabel leaving - booo - and Jude waits to walk Rikku home, awww.

Seely: Kaylee gets a letter from home, Marie and Jamie play checkers, touch checkers if you get what I mean, Shawn welcomes Summer back with goodies, nothing about whether there were checkers involved, Phoebe tells Bel about playing checkers with Anders, and people, please remember that around Anders'll be the place to talk about the radio tomorrow, since Bel turned him into a water cooler in response.

inally, Parker attempts meditation, and since I'm not feeling particulary suicidal today I will make not smart remarks about her seriously needing it.

...go to Town instead.

Alec: Down in Town, Sparky Repairs is opened by John Conner and visited by Ranma. Town Hall opens and welcomes our new Postmaster. ...Did we have an old one? Did they have a better name than "Moist". Anyway, Moist opened the Post Office today-- maybe it's stamp related? Or mildew related?

Batou opens Sanctity, none of which sounds anything like "moist", thankfully.

Seely: Rosette opens the Church, Professor Roslin prays and wonders at the towns lack of piety, well, that's because, um...I used to be an altarboy? John Connor and Billy confess, what they confess no one knows.

In other news, Setsuna hangs at the Perk.

Alec: Annette and Mac catch up on their spring break activities, John Conner drops by to be inspected by Setsuna, and then she turns around to tea with Al and warn him about Ranma's gender identity issues. Wilson and Aziraphale have a date at the Perk.

Chad opened Empire Records, which gave Pippi a chance to come bug him where he couldn't run away.

Seely: Deadpool's back in town, spread the word around. Which Pippi seems to be doing. There's a CUBE hunt at Turtle and Canary and Lana opens the bookstore, while the squirrels say goodbye to a duck in the park.

Was it a peking duck? Because I wouldn't mind saying goodbye to one of...

OW!OW!OW!OW!OW! STOP THROWING THINGS AT ME YOU LITTLE HAIRBALLS!

In other news, Xander's making calls and taking names. Bridge's in particular it seems.

Alec: Over at the clinic this morning, Elliot was apparently playing warden to Liz and Ami. Visitors included Setsuna, Annette, John Conner, Tori and Billy. ...Aren't people supposed to be resting when they're sick?

Seely: Doctor Troy was totally not reading porn during the evening shift. Really. Just asked Rose, who visted during it.

Over at Caritas, Jarod is maudlin, woe. Also woeful and angsty is Deadpool, who cries in his beer about his ex-finding Jesus with guns, don't cry Professor, nuns are hot, especially ones packing heat. Then Jaye and Jarod are apparently adorable when struck down by rare diseases. Okaaaaay...

Alec: The Devil's Nest was apparently hopping - Lindy Hopping - tonight, after Schrodinger extends some non-existant courtesy to open early. Sokka and Pippi exercise their grammatical muscles by talking homonyms, Annette and Pippi Lindy Hop it up, and Sokka shows he is not nearly the dancing master that Neil is. Billy gets a hug from Annette but doesn't dance - which makes me wonder why he was there at all - and Pippi serves El a drink.

Seely: I think I saw a porno that began like that once

Alec: I think we have rules about that here though, which is a shame - have you seen some of the teachers here?

Seely: Yes, yes I have. In any case, that seems to be all the notes we have, which means that's all you're going to hear from me until next broadcast.

Alec: And I don't even know what I'm doing here other than Seely pining for my presence - so until next time that happens, good night Fandom!

Seely: Night, Fandom, this is Seely "Yes, I am totally pining for Alec" Booth, signing off.

[Much love to [livejournal.com profile] x5_alec for helping me out with tonight's radio.]

Sam glared at the radio and wondered if he could kill Alec with his mind through the transmitter waves.

Tori caught the broadcast and frowned slightly. "Parade? What?" She laughed and shook her head, after a moment.

She had to admit, this was one of the funnier broadcasts she'd heard.

[OOC: Omg, I love you guys!]
