Fandom Radio, Saturday, January 27, 2007

Hi Fandom! This is Willow Rosenberg and the most wonderful and recently rescued Stanley here to tell you all about the day's events! Granted I'll be doing most of the talking. Stanley is a stuffed dog. He doesn't say much. He's a great listener though! His role on radio tonight will be that of moral support.

On to the news!

School: Where there is typically no boykissy, but on the other hand dogs do not get napped either. We learn to accept these tradeoffs.

The office is open and brings news of how Dick Casablancas, Professor Deadpool, Molly Hayes, Billy Kessler, Blair Sandburg, Naomi Wildman, Sam Winchester, and Zuko have detention with Hades. First off, let us marvel at how Katara was not included on that list. I believe a week without detention is a new one for her. Second, we can marvel at how all of them spent detention painting Seely in all the colors of the rainbow and then letting him loose in a simulated Skittles convention with a strategically placed sign that read "Free samples."

And, while it will be granted that Stanley has been safely returned, I would like to make it clear that attempts to harm my dog bring about karmic revenge the likes of which you'll have nightmares about for years AND I'M INCLUDING YOU IN THIS STATEMENT, PETER PETRELLI!

Glad we've got that cleared up.

Dorms, where still more boys woke up and asked themselves "How can I guarantee that the girls will plot against me in ways that will make Meerkats vs. Stickbugs battle of '06 look like a cuddlefest?"

So this morning a quilt made out of unmentionables in that I literally will not mention them due to how the subsequent blushing will make it impossible for me to speak and at which point Stanley will be doing radio for me, appeared in the lobby. Shawn, Tori, and Billy all stop by to observe it. I saw it on my way to the radio station and let me just say the worksmanship is shoddy, duct tape is a horrible thing to do to someone's totally amazing Bitterwoman underroos, I have absolutely no idea who owns the black lacey pair in spite of what nametags on the inside might say, and, oh yeah, THAT IS SO NOT FUNNY AND I MEAN IT!!!

Girls? We should plot revenge.

Anyway, up in the common room of the coolest floor in all the dorms Annette is apparently hostile and eating a lot of chocolate. Boys? Did you ever pick a bad week to annoy the girls of this school. Just sayin'

Tori fills Annette in on the details of the panty raid and Annette volunteers to join the cause of the just. Way to go Annette! Tori and Walter apparently both had quiet evenings, other than the boykissy. One assumes that if Walter partook of boykissy he had a not so quiet morning involving his girlfriend, her mallet, and his head.

Walter tells Annette about all his detentions, and about how Fandom changes your dating expectations. Walter speaks sooth, and speaking of which hi, sweetie! Um, Peter Pevensie I mean. Though Walter is very well-mannered and sweet in temperment as well. I don't mean to imply otherwise.

Annette thinks Marco is cute, even though she is aware that Marco is On Notice.

Later on in the day Cally drops one floor in coolness and uses that common room to watch The Girlie Show. I, uh, wasn't aware we got those cable channels on the school TV sets. Though the squirrels wrote down "Anybody notice if Sam Winchester was around?" but I'm not sure why that would be relevant. Mac's apparently with me on the buh? and zuh? of the show choice, and we find out that Mac is Cally's hero which is officially our AWWWWW of the day. Well it's not limited to one but c'mon people! That's pretty gosh darned cute.

Summer hopes she isn't interrupting the snugglebugs. Cally assures her that she and Mac don't mind a third, to which my notes have added "Apparently that's how Cally and Mac roll." Mac and Summer catch up and Mac tells her about the slumber party. Want in on the revenging? All girls welcome!

Dick is excited to find out Cally and Mac are girlfriends. I think it's very thoughtful of Dick to be so supportive of them. Dick tells Mac about how he got licked by a kitty in detention. The note here says "Reasonably certain this was not dirty, on the other hand Hades was running it." Stark wonders what's the up with Dick's hair. I wonder why of all the styling choices in Fandom Dick's is the one that brought Stark up short.

Tyler and Dick congratulate each other for their roles in the panty raid. YOU'LL GET YOURS, JUST YOU WAIT!! Cally tells Tyler about how she broke her jaw. I somehow suspect Tyler was not left struggling for things to talk about in this conversation. Cally explains the TV show to Stark and Billy quizzes Cally on her attack. It doesn't say if this was true/false or multiple choice.

Around the dorms, Jack and Cedric wake up, and Jack lets it be known throughout the land that he must go off the island for the day. Or at least throughout his room. I'm pretty sure Paul Revere is gone so there wasn't any announcing hither and yon that I'm aware of.

Mel's room sees the aftermath of the sleepover. Tori enjoys a good wallow in her sleeping bag. I fully endorse this concept as Saturday mornings are made for bed-wallowing. Or bag-wallowing as the case may be. Such activities are rocketshipful. Mac and Cally also wake up all sleepyheaded and, one assumes, snuggly. Pippi and Turtle both mumble in their sleep. Possibly to each other, possibly about Turtle's trauma at having to look at Seely yesterday, which would be more than understandable. And Molly mourns her lost hat, which is yet another reason why BOYS MUST PAY!

Jim and Lana are snuggly. Erm, not in Mel's room, I hasten to add. I rescue my poor stolen dog Stanley from Seely who should really reconsider the boxers or briefs question. Dean gives Dawn's stuff to Sam, and then they gossip about girls and do each other's hair. I may have made one of those activities up. Then again, considering Sam's hair, this is not out of the realm of possibility.

Parker, Weiss, and Jack head off island, thus giving us all closure on the earlier note about Jack saying he needed to leave. Aeryn stops by Luke's room and has a conversation with him about nothing whatsoever. How did they know when they were done? Rory stops by with hot chocolate and talks with Luke about last night's delinquency. It doesn't specify whose, so I'm just going to assume Seely. The odds are with us.

Sam who is not a Winchester gets a letter. Is it X? Xs need love too! Isabel stops by with either very late Chrismukkah presents or very early Valentine's ones. Cam stops by to say how do and later Jack stops by to tell her about the trip to the mainland, though not the rest of us because apparently Jack doesn't like us as much as Sam. Woe.

Dick calls home. No idea if he tells them about the kitty. Neil, Chris, and Tannim decide that they are lame and need to go out. Er... with each other? I mean not that I don't support you but - hum? Oh, the squirrels just passed me a note which says "Tell them to ask Mac and Cally for tips." So I hope that works out for you guys!

Tannim tells Chris about the panty raid, which means that now I know he was involved in it and he is included on the list. Sam Winchester stops by and is allowed to join in on the going out = less lame crowd, as does Tori, who I assume is there gathering intelligence for when we girls strike like striking things that take revenge by striking!

Elsewhere, Dean and Alec go on a road trip. Ooo - take lots of pictures of the biggest ball of string! I always wanted to see that. Speaking of pictures, Parker is in the darkroom with acid. Frankly that sounds painful.

Town, where boys could run but they can't hide. Well, they could but we'd find them, is the point I'm trying to make here.

Setsuna brings Jude a present while he works at Luke's. That's nice and all but now I'm craving pancakes on sticks. Jane tests cots at All & Sundries. Sigh. Cally got a quiz, cots got a test... I miss out on all the fun!

The twins open up Sparky Repairs. John Connor stops by to show off his castless nature. Sister Fleurchon drinks a lot of espresso at The Perk. This possibly gives her the keen eyesight to realize that John Connor doesn't have that cast anymore and when I first read that note I was all She saw all the way into Sparky's, that's so cool! And then I realized that John was actually in The Perk with her at this point and it wasn't quite as spectacular and my hopes were dashed and my faith in the wonder of the world was shattered a little.

Unrelated to any such concepts except those of "The Perk" and "Sister Fleurchon" Clark was there and said hi. And over at J,GOB we find Honor talking to Parker.

The clinic is quiet day and night, which is good for the overall health of Fandom though I worry that the folks there get paid by the patient.

Over in There Might Be Dancing If Not For The Owner's Childhood Trauma, Poor Guy Mr. Dean and Sam's Daddy is surprised to see that Ellen is at work behind the bar. One wonders about what it is about Ellen that she gets him to pull up short but the zombie band is apparently same old same old in his mind.

Leo gets to meet Ellen too, so apparently she's a very friendly sort. Wyatt meets her as well when he gets drinks while he's there with Jo.

Chris tells Neil all about his date with Jo. One hopes Neil then gave Chris a stern lecture about kissing and telling. Tori and Chris talk about hobbies. You know what's fun? Writing fanfiction. Uh... so I hear. And Chris and Tannim talk about girls. Do not worry, girls will certainly be talking about you in return, though I'll bet our conversations are far more likely to include words like "bleeding."

And that's the news I've got. Enjoy your night, Fandom! And thanks so much for voting for me!

Seely looked at the radio. "Does this mean you think I should go commando?"

Tori listened to the broadcast and was all for revenge.

And laughed at the gathering intel comment. Oh yeah, getting back at the boys would be a lot of fun.

[OOC: So good!]

Turtle was carefully listening to the broadcast, taking notes and jotting down names with narrowed eyes under the heading People to Kick. Really, Really, REALLY HARD.

Cally pouted at the radio.

"Frak, I thought I got over that whole 'threesome girl' stigma..."

Mac is also pouting somewhere, because suddenly this threesome reputation somehow includes her.

Dick had just gotten out of the shower when he heard Willow mention revenge. He had somehow doubted it would involve the stealing of undies.

He'd make sure the door was locked when he went to bed tonight.

Pippi is totally up for revenge.

She liked those Bitterwoman Underoos!

Saturday Night? It's not all right for fighting. Mel took Saturday off from patrolling to sit back and listen to her buddy Willow on the radio.

And totally plot revenge on the panty raiders.

Dean. Had given Sam. Her underwear.

Dawn would be under the blankets for a while, thanks.
