Kanan: Hey, look, I actually set out to go somewhere and got there, today.

Sparkle: Me too!

Kanan: ... You're really committed to this, aren't you?

Sparkle: At least until I freak the hell out and flee to Baltimore until the island stops being homicidal, sure.

Kanan: Well, that shouldn't take long.

Sparkle: What, the island not being homicidal?

Kanan: No, the other one. I have--

Sparkle: A bad fee--

Kanan: Don't even.

Sparkle: Heee.

Kanan: Anyway, there aren't many notes today, so let's make this quick. I'm pretty sure this week I'm going to have to teach my students how to arm up.

Sparkle: That bad, huh?

Kanan: Undoubtedly so.

Sparkle: Crap. Okay. Uh. I was at the apartment because there's no way I was going to get myself lost on the island in that maze and I was singing Baby Shark doo doo doo--

Kanan: Very nice. Looks like you did some texting with Hernando about mazes and knives and escape plans, and I'm seriously starting to wonder about the squirrels' ability to get in and read that much.

Sparkle: I'm seriously picturing one suspended from the ceiling by a rope or something. Maybe wearing night vision goggles.

Kanan: To read a text?

Sparkle: Well, it'd look cool. Anyway, Atton found his way home with Mooby's and I totally schooled him about Vaudeville and Heavy Metal.

Kanan: I don't know what either of those things are. Anyway, it looks like someone did find their way in to work, so props to you, Owen, you managed to accomplish what basically nobody else did this weekend. And that's all the notes, so...

Sparkle: Stay safe?

Kanan: I'm not sure if people can.

Sparkle: ... Well, that's not ominous.

Kanan: Arm up or find somewhere to hole up. Don't go out alone. And, yeah, stay safe, Fandom.

Fandom Radio- Tuesday, July 9

Morning, everybody. Soooo this is a new nightmare we've wandered into! At least the daytime's... Look, I'm trying here. Let's get to notes.

At school, Cutthroat Games played RISK, which Anakin and Aeryn got waaaaay too into.

*chittering*

Apparently it's a thing. Adaptability had to fight nightmare teddy bears and I'm just going to hope he didn't give the island ideas, and Delirium offered to take away Kanan's headache while Summer bought him a cake for trying to take his head off last week. As you do. International Cuisine took their field trip to Tokyo, and I'd be jealous if I didn't keep having bad experiences there, and at the library Tip was trying to talk the books out of showcasing horror fiction.

In the dorms, Owen seemed to have a tough wakeup, but as always, Wayne had a common room to cook for. He and Vette figured the smoke was probably a weeklong thing and also talked a bunch about peaches, and Delirium learned what aspirin is.

And in town, Beau made vacation plans at the gym, which feels like a really good call, Nell was trying to brighten up the flower shop, Rosa was trying to detective where we are now, and Amaya had to get herself back to normal after the weekend before heading to the foundry. She got a visit from Fjord, who wanted to get some work in, especially putting spikes on things. After dark Jack had to run after Kaidan, and of course poor Regina had to come to the island now. I promise we're usually better than this, and as someone who showed up like two days before the multiverse started disappearing, if you need to talk, just ask for Kitty.

That's all the notes, be careful, Caritas is open if you need to hide out. Maybe don't need a reason to hide out.
