Fandom Radio- Wednesday, January 11
Hey there again. This is Jaye, your new radio overlord, apparently. Fandom, what are you doing? Why do you people keep voluntarily giving me responsibility? First you let me have at the minds of today's youth and now you give me control over the airwaves? What are you doing?
Oh, and if you're Cara, Chloe Sullivan, Deadpool and Jonothon Starsmore, Peter Wiggin and Topher Brink, Rilla Blythe or Ronan Nolan, congratulations on being the broadcasters from now until summer. You don't get paid.
SCHOOL
In So You're a Fugitive From Justice- and boy are there a lot of people passing through this town who could use that class- they talked about why having friends is important, and they separated into groups so they could recruit teammates. Toby went for Danyouneedanewname, Kate, and Ben, Annie snatched up Littlekin, and I assume other people found other people. After class, Ben and Ender talked to Zayne about Sith. Which the more I look at it, does not look like a real word.
In Polar Opposites, the class debated: pants or no pants? Wait, no, sorry. That's pants vs. Morrigan's wardrobe. Which for all I know, might include no pants. And all I'm going to say on the subject is, leather pants equal evil, so I think I'm on Morrigan's side just to be safe. Sex Ed got a lecture on contraception and abstinence, which to borrow from the last class I just reported on, means keeping your pants on. Some people handled it better than others. Kenzi was asking about... okay, it seems a little weird to be telling you about people asking about birth control so let's just skip the details so I don't feel skeevy. And then, in case there was someone who wasn't uncomfortable yet, they put condoms on bananas. Kenzi tried to get Topher to not be scared of the condoms, Seifer thought other fruit would be better, Ryan thought the condoms were too thin, and Surreal- that's really your name? Your parents were mean- used a condom as a balloon. Unironically. After class, Topher, who was scared of the banana, asked to be a TA. God help you all, class.
Cassie had a head cold at the library, Anakin was making up a seating chart in his office, which makes me think Rory's rubbed off on him. Is it color coded? Luke came by and then... that's all it says. Fine, squirrel, I'm docking your pay. Hercules was looking for Greek mythology fanfic in his office, because I am assuming he wants to see how hard he can break his own brain.
DORMS
Almost everyone in the dorms today was boring. Tara- why does that sound familiar?- was reading and playing with her cat, and Loki came to talk about how his radio injuries. Once again, WELCOME, NEW BROADCASTERS. Oh, and about Tara's love life and how Loki needs a bff.
Probably one who's not Alex.
TOWN
Bo was watching TV and drinking at home, as you do, and Kenzi snuck in to tell her about working for Jono. You usually don't have to sneak in for that sort of thing. Phones exist. Cassidy had tea at Book Haven, where Ender stopped by, Hayley had her first day at Cafe Luke's... When did the Cafe get thrown in there? Troy danced around the Boards singing for someone to touch him, so there's a little insight into Troy's hobbies. Kitty opened Caritas where she caught up with Scott, and finally, Jack Sparrow set sail for elsewhere.
Which leaves Pirate Radio without a pirate. With the memory of Barbossa as my witness, I promise to download everything illegally that I possibly can to make up for it.
