Fandom Radio- Wednesday, November 30
Good morning, Fandom. This is Annie Edison with yesterday's news, but I'm trying to keep an optimistic bent on things because otherwise everything is really depressing.
SCHOOL
In Ethics we kind of gave up on the usual lesson and talked about what's going on and why we think it's happening. I doubt we were very helpful there. But you know what, we will. I'm sure of it. Kenzi hugged Toby after class and asked if he got any bad news. My notes don't tell me if he did, though, so I'm going to assume he didn't and that everything's fine.
Bringing Literature to Life- Through Violence! talked about Lord of the Flies and views on society. That's refreshingly normal. Thank you. I mean it. Thank you. And How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse talked about how to get blood and bodily fluid stains out of clothes, and then they did laundry with zombies.
….Also refreshingly normal somehow. For the zombie thing! I mean zombies are normal to me now! Not... Don't judge me. Rinoa was crying in the library with Squall, and Seifer found out that a version of their world disappeared. Oh. Well. Um. Scully was there to research? Moving on!
Principal Winchester had Grace- who I'm sure is adorable- in her office, which was a good thing as she ended up getting last calls from people named Josh and Kaylee. ...Oh my god, that's happening? I- Upbeat. We are being upbeat. Right.
DORMS
In the dorms, Mercy found Simon packing to go home, because his friend went missing and he'd rather be there. Good luck? I'm sorry, I have no idea what to say in a situation like this. Elphaba told Sov about her missing sister and the fact that a letter got returned to her when they came by to visit, and Warren was moping in his room. But he was moping with a bunny. Bunnies are happy, right? I'm sure that's why Portalocity okay maybe that's not the best thing to bring up right now. Topher distracted him with talk of how birds eat their own wings- ….that is the most random trivia ever- and whether or not it's okay to "do science" on Warren. Warren, I've talked to you maybe once but I'm going to step in here anyway. NO, TOPHER. THE ANSWER IS NO. Karla came for cuddles and told him about Dinah going missing, Tara came to check up and they talked about what was going on and then hugged, and then he got a call from Professor Hercules. So see, that's not a total downer or anything! See?
Squall told Rinoa about getting a goodbye call from another version of himself, and there we go with the sad stuff again! Chuck and Dane-er-is talked about how they're missing more people, but Dane-er-is said Susan's working on it. SO. How's that going? We're getting somewhere with this, right? Right! Thought so!
Claudia was doing some tinkering and uhhhh I see the word Tesla in here. Someone check on Claudia, please? Dane-er-is was in the fifth floor common room with Chinese food for the sharing, and she and Petra talked about their friends disappearing. Quinn checked on how Dane-er-is was doing with the disappearances, but then they got to talking about marriage and boys and dating and I love you both for that subject change. Squall told Dane-er-is about the call from himself, and she and Seifer decided that wine might be a good thing today, what with worlds disappearing and all. Freddie told Dane-er-is about a friend going missing- a theme for today- and Susan came to tell her about going somewhere. AND YOU HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY, RIGHT?
Ben got a call from someone named Aravis, who disappeared mid-call- OH COME ON. THAT IS NOT ALLOWED. NOT. ALLOWED. And then he got a call from Tahiri, who didn't disappear. THANK YOU FOR THAT. THANK YOU, TAHIRI.
TOWN
At the Arms, Professor Kyoraku went looking for Professor Atreides, and found her room trashed and her talking about... I don't actually know what any of this means but it seems kind of personal so can I just say it doesn't sound good? At Ronan's house, Jack Priest told Emma that it looks like his world's gone, which led to a fight when she told him hers seems to be okay, and NONE OF YOU ARE MAKING IT EASY TO BE UPBEAT. NONE OF YOU. WHY WON'T ANY OF YOU EVEN TRY.
*clears throat*
Anyway! Someone named Robin was hanging out on the rooftops when Professor Gardner called her down to check on people from her version of his home, I guess. I'm so glad to just have one reality. Makes things easier.
Tim was depressed at the Arms but got cuddles from Gwynn, and at the Perk, Joan was not emo. Natalie taught Joan how to send a text, and Joan realized she met her when she was little. There were too many female pronouns there. I'm sorry. Joan realized Professor Max had a hangover, but she's used to that sort of thing. Men with hangovers. Not her hangovers. I assume. I don't know her life. Joan and Jaina knew each other's names because of Eric, and talked about what's going on here you know what, let's move on to Professor Caffrey, who impressed Joan by guessing when and where she's from just by looking at her.

was at Cabot and Associates where she realized the names in her paper from home were all wrong. WELL. THAT NEUTRAL-TO-HAPPY MOOD I WAS STRIVING FOR DIDN'T LAST LONG. Professor Skywalker added a section to the board outside the school because we were running out of room. That's... *sigh* There was goat stew at Goodvalor's today?
LOOK I'M TRYING HERE, OKAY. AND EVERYONE JUST KEEPS BEING SAD AND DEPRESSING.
Ahem. Jono went through paperwork at the Boards, and Millie wasn't cheerful at the clinic, nor was Cassidy over at Book Haven. WE GET IT. NO ONE IS HAPPY.

Mary found out some friends were missing at the Arms, which now has to be the most depressing hotel ever at this rate, but Phoebe was happy to see her and Eve told her about her Portalocity issues. Good thing there's a new Portalocity office in Fandom!

I don't want to know what they're doing. Myria had coffee at the Perk, and had Jono explain the Internet and the weirdness that is Fandom to her. This has to be the worst time to be new in town. Hi, welcome to Fandom! Hope you don't mind all your friends and families and homes disappearing! On the bright side, you don't have to buy anyone postcards!

Professor Hercules talked at her about whether she's French and if she likes being conquered- ewww- and Professor Skywalker introduced himself. At Caritas, Kitty got bad news- SURPRISE- but then made drinks half off. That brought Zayne in, but a badger stole his shirt. ...Either I've reached the point where that stuff is normal to me, or I've had a psychotic break on air. I'm pretty sure it's the first thing. I think I'd know if it was the second. Billy wanted to drink for his world being gone but settled for a Coke, and Jon had a bunch of stuff to drink to.

They've started a betting pool on when the Portalocity office will get burnt down and who'll do the dirty work. Having seen Twitter... I still don't want in on this. Really.
