Fandom Radio- Wednesday, October 5

Goooood morning, Fandom! This is Annie with your few-days-past-Parents-Weekend radio! I'm looking over these notes and hopefully everyone's recovered, or has stopped missing people, and... well, you can join those of us whose parents couldn't show up back in the land of normal conversations!

*clears throat*

Anyway, on with the notes!

SCHOOL

In Ethics we talked about Kant some more, and if every lie is bad. So we split up and hid from stormtroopers while convincing the other half to not sell us out. Fun times in class. Lex helped Kenzi hide, and Seifer even tried to find Katniss a better hiding place, but Topher told Angelica straight out that he was selling her out. For those of you who argued against eating him as a lemur, I just want you to remember this. Juliet bribed Peter, Lucrezia took some time to decide what to do about Toby, who also got Kenzi asking about date night. I'm not sure that's about the assignment...

Bringing Literature to Life- Through Violence!!!- Ahem. Sorry. I think I added in a few too many exclamation points there, watched a movie about the Battle of Thermopylae, and Alex apologized to Professor Perrault about his father's behavior over the weekend. Okay, if you needed to apologize, that's pretty bad. How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse talked about finding a kicka- kick butt partner, and they partnered up to fight zombies in a bowling alley. Seifer and Bod even tried out different ball weights to see how they worked on zombies, which is something I think I never want to learn.

Rinoa spent her library shift reading about government, and my roomie Jack came to see how she was doing after the weekend. It is going to be a running theme, I'll warn you now. In Kappa Delta Gremlin we took a cue from Quinn and had makeover time, and in office hours, Professor Madrox was playing Cyndi Lauper songs on ten trombones. *sigh* Unsurprisingly, Professor Caffrey came to try and put a stop to it.

I can't imagine why.

DORMS

Over at the dorms, Ben got a not so great phone call, and Katniss tried meditating, but Wesley came by with food and got her to talk, and Karla tried to leave tea for her and go, but Katniss caught her. Also, Quinn has pink hair. Very pink. Puck likes it but wondered what happened, and then they started talking about getting tattoos. Stop it, Quinn, it's a slippery slope you're on! Ahem. Not that I care, I'm just saying. Nathan thought she fell into a cotton candy machine and looked like a stripper- I have seen it, she does not- and then asked if she also dye- Oh my gosh I am not reading that. Claudia wondered if this meant Quinn's Parents Weekend was bad, which got them talking about that.

In the second floor common room, Dane-er-is was trying to cook by... cooking food over the stove burners. Oh, we need to get you lessons. Freddie tried to teach her about the microwave, but it was Petra who tried to tell her that no, that's not how we do things.

Guys, do we actually maybe need lessons in this stuff? Like when the new kids come in, we just teach them about things like the stove and the TV if they need to learn it? I think we might need this.

Moving on, Bobby McCallister found Scary Cara moving furniture around, and Claudia went to the roof to practice guitar, where Scully complimented her playing and and Claudia introduced my roomie Jack to the Pixies. The band, not the... you know... pixies. Have to clarify here.

TOWN

At the Arms, Mary was trying to help some stranded travelers, while Millie and the nurses were available at the clinic. Hopefully not for the stranded travelers. I mean, I'd hope they were available but that the stranded travelers didn't ne- You know what, let's just continue. Hermione wasn't in the best mood at Cabot and Associates, but she got a package delivered and coffee and a bagel from Professor Caffrey so hopefully that helped. And I helped out at Goodvalor's by helping pick out the special. Which we never determined. Look, I said I helped, not that I did everything.

Well, that's all the news that's fit to read aloud over the airwaves. Have a great Wednesday, everyone!
