Good morning, everybody! This is Annie Edison, candidate for Senior Student Council Representative, coming to you from WTFH with all the news the squirrels could get. The really freaked out squirrels. One keeps dunking its head in a shot glass of rum. I don't know where the rum came from or who poured it and I don't think I want to know.
SCHOOL
In Ethics class today, people found their seats before class, where Luke and I, well, met, and apologized for the weekend. Then in class we talked about utilitarianism and whether something is right just because the minority likes it that way. The answer: no. And we debated whether a hospital or a sports stadium would be more important to build if given a choice. In Bringing Literature to Life Through Violence, they got a lecture about Troy and partnered up to explore the city the night it fell to the Greeks. That sounds really cool. Kenzi checked in with Professor Perrault about the weekend, and the teachers talked about, uh, drinking and setting yourself on fire with a torch by accident. We all know that's a bad idea, right? I don't need a PSA here? Good. In Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse, the students were told to enjoy the little things. So they got to eat Twinkies or smash up a car. I feel the need to say "as you do" here.
In the library, Rinoa was upset and hiding, but Seifer found her to argue and tell her to make up with Squall. Professor Lannister was reading his class' essays in his office, where Professor Ohio checked in on how he's doing after the weekend, while Warren came to apologize for helping kill him. I wish I could say that's weird but I had a conversation like that yesterday.
DORMS
Peter spent some time answering emails and um, cursing Ender's name, literally. That got Kenzi wondering how Ender got that name, anyway, and then they spent some time talking about the weekend, while she wondered how she ended up working for him. Quinn hadn't realized that Peter and Ender were related, and after talking about the weekend they started talking colleges. I like that subject much better. Natalie the Bavarian minion came to introduce herself, but Peter thought she was Kate, Ben just wanted to give him a flattering nickname. No word on what it is yet. Maybe there'll be an update tomorrow. Puck got back and had Quinn wondering why he didn't call.
I seem to have more campaign posters up. High five them, it's so cool! Only a few days till the election, everyone! Remember, vote early and vote Annie!
In the second floor common room, Kenzi had some... footage of Wesley shooting things playing. Bruce, being anti-gun, was not exactly a fan, and he said as much to Wesley, too. But then he told him about nearly dying four times just on Sunday so I guess they're good. Wesley told Kenzi it wasn't appropriate, but she got him off-track when she started telling him about the weekend. Which, if you haven't figured out by now, was insane. Petra hung up some campaign posters and got to hear from Kenzi about learning to fight monsters, and Freddie was avoiding Sam because of something that happened over the- *gasp* Ohhhhh.
And Seifer sort of... destroyed his room a little? Which was a little alarming to his roommate George when she got back.
Let's move on, maybe.
TOWN
Seniors were getting a 25% discount at Goodvalor's today, and Hermione was keeping herself busy at Cabot and Associates. Kennedy stopped at the Perk for some coffee- which, by the way, doesn't kill you except on crazy weekends, just in case anyone wasn't aware- and had Kate Daniels introduce herself by asking if the weekend made her want to beat her head against a wall, too. I'm betting the answer was yes. Tara was surprised to see Kennedy still in town, and got apologized to for the lack of warning before they talked about the weekend.
Why do I have the feeling we're going to be talking about the weekend till the next time something weird happens?
Seifer was sitting in the park on a picnic table, and Kenzi asked him if he wanted to blow s... stuff up. So he conjured up a demon and watched him eat a rabbit? UM.
...UM.
Karla wasn't doing that great at the park, and she didn't have much to say to Seifer, who offered to tell her she was... I'm not even going to repeat that. Squall told Seifer to stop Tweeting about the weekend...
That stuff went on Twitter?!
Ignoring my mild panic attack to finish up with Jaina at JGOB trying to do some work, and then Howard stopped by to introduce himself now that they're not married and he's not dead. Hi. Sorry I had to say you were dead. It was weird. Less weirdly, Katniss happened to stop in and caught Jaina up on what happened back home.
And I see the squirrel that had his head in the shot glass had passed out. See, guys, this is why drinking is bad. You better be fine, squirrel, I was a medical intern, not a vet, and I don't think I was a very good one at that...
