Fandom Radio- Wednesday, August 31
Happy Wednesday, everyone! And welcome to all the new kids I didn't get to meet yet. We'll see if we can't fix that. This is brand new senior Annie Edison coming to you from WTFH in lovely Fandom, bringing you news full of new classes and new names!
I love this time of year.
SCHOOL
I am maybe a little excited to have new classes to talk about this school year. Not that I didn't like the old ones, but these are new. You know how it is.
First up we have Ethics, where before class Mercy checked in on her little sister Lucrezia, Petra pointed out that the seating chart is perfect for note-passing, and Rosella told Petra Professor Skywalker might come to regret this. Uh, new kids, you might not know about the squirrels? Because they're listening to you, and that means I have to tattle on you. Sorry. We had a question to answer about whether we'd kill one person to save five others or not, which might be a little heavy for first thing in the morning, but we got through it. And after class, Tony stopped by to say that Topher wouldn't be in class because he's currently a lemur.
Yeah, new kids, might want to have your big sibs explain that one to you, too. Along with the squirrels.
We also have Bringing Literature to Life- Through Violence!. And here I thought we'd be getting more normal classes come fall. Everyone introduced themselves and then shared how their societies participate in wars and how it's portrayed in the media. Okay, the class title's scary, but that sound kind of interesting. Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse returns, and aww, I'll miss that class. The students learned about cardio and Bod had a little while to stare at Natalie for looking like his girlfriend before everyone had to run away from zombies. It's like gym, but really, really intense.
Rinoa was in the library, looking out for lost new kids, and Professor Lannister got his computer set up and was looking up things he'd heard since coming to the island- I think that happens to everybody- and Kate came by asking about being his assistant.
DORMS
Bod was reading in his room, but that didn't stop him from texting with the Kate who's not here anymore or telling Ender about the weird stuff that happened over the summer. Not that there was anything bad, impressionable new kids! Percy came back from the beach and ended up snarking at Luke for a while before it turned into a serious conversation, Wesley's nap was interrupted by his roommate Alex, who ended up telling him about another name he goes by. Okay. Jack Carter spent some time on the phone, and Ben, Karla and Ender had a movie night, complete with enough snacks to feed a third world country.
I'm just saying, if you guys have anything left over, there's always the common room...
TOWN
In town, Hermione got herself settled for her first day at Cabot and Associates, George put up a sign at Groovy Tunes asking who Katy Perry was and why she should care... George, I guarantee you, if you've turned on your TV or radio anytime in the last year or two, you know who Katy Perry is. You may not want to, but you know. Jeremy came by to catch up and talk about how they were both adorable monkeys, which. I don't know whether to take that note at face value or not. And Squall and George were awkward when they caught up.
Captain Hook put a for sale sign out in front of MCA apartments, and Zayne decided he was going to take over the building. Congratulations, Zayne! You didn't mention that when you visited me at my very first day of work today. Yes, everyone, I have a job. You should all visit me at Goodvalor's. I'll give you the service you were looking for!
*chittering*
What'd I say? Are you giggling?
Anyway, Spock realized he's working at Stark Industries and not Fixer Uppers anymore, but that didn't stop him from going about his day. Annnd.. that's it. I'm somehow used to more notes in that section.
Well, anyway, I've really enjoyed telling you today's news, so remember me when it's time to vote!
Stop giggling!
