Fandom Radio- Wednesday, August 17

Happy Finals Week, Fandom! This is Annie Edison, coming to you with news from the last official week of classes for the summer. And you know what that means... New school year! Be sure to hit the sales. Sure, they're crowded, but that's part of the fun! It's like Christmas for the scholarly!

Now with that sound piece of advice, let's get to your notes, because I'm sure you're all excited to take your finals...

SCHOOL

Creative Writing had a very simple final: tell a story. That was it. Deep Sea Diving swam with whales, and Try Not to Die!! had Tahiri leading things in Pleasantville, which could have been a lot more pleasant today. First we got to drive go-karts down a highway and spot some signs, and then we either hula hooped in front of a promoter who can't freaking count, or you could serve milkshakes on rollerskates. When we checked in, Hank won class. Congratulations, Hank. I hope you're happy. And because I refuse to end on something that makes me sad- no offense, Hank- Tricks, Cons and Bamboozles went to the Antwerp Museum of Art, where they split into three teams and then tried to steal a painting. Professor Caffrey got to figure out Surreal's a cat because she scratched her name on the floor, and Kenzi thought this class should go on forever. I think now the troopers know who to watch.

Oh, and the library was open even though Rinoa wasn't there. Always nice on finals week!

DORMS

Back where we live, Caroline came to Jacob's room to flirt with him and tease him about him wanting a life-sized Barbie. And J- Wait, the squirrel just handed me a note saying just "Try Dite's." ...Why would Dite's have a life sized Barbi- Oh! Oh my gosh, moving on. Jack Carter showed me how his clothes got thrown about by a honey badger, and Luke got back only to have his nap interrupted by Kate Gregson texting him. And the Percy came over to be snippy. I don't think his nap was very relaxing.

Kate Daniels took over the second floor common room with pizza and movies, and now I'm wishing I'd stopped by. Freddie was weirded out that he didn't know the movie, but apparently TV's different in his world. I'm not sure what that means. Maybe their programming isn't ruled by reality shows?

TOWN

And finally in town, Stephanie was taking Tony, who was a baby pony, for a walk, and then he was a naked human. In public. This led to talk of blackmail pictures and flirting, yet I see no notes about clothes. Please tell me clothes were achieved. Professor Stark was watching a cupcake show in his hotel room, and that only makes me worry. It was Sookie's last shift at Luke's, and she told Toby how she's leaving next week. ...I didn't think about how everyone was going to have to leave. I mean, I haven't met hardly any old seniors but still, that's sad!

At the clinic, Millie was working on a letter, and Emma was looking over her college orientation packet at the Devil's Nest. Congratulations! I can't wait till I get accepted somewhere. Peter offered her tips on filling out her roommate survey which led to something about... "unwanted intimacy with coffee pots. And whips." And I am suddenly a little more terrified of both of them. Jaina got in without needing ID, which probably either means she's there a lot or looks old, Jack Priest teased Emma about giving up her job for college, and asked if she wanted a partner if she opened up her own club. Then Peter Bishop was back in town, which meant he got slapped in the head by Emma. Ooh, I think I'm missing gossip. Peter Wiggin was studying holograms at the bar, which Jack had to ask him about, and Jaina went to the VIP section to give Eric dirt- literally- and tell him where she's been. Also, he and Emma talked about college orgies and sacrifices my God what is with all you people today?

I can't believe that's how I'm going out today. Anyway... don't judge me too much. Till next week!
