Fandom Radio- Wednesday, July 19
Hi again, everyone! It's Annie again, after a week off. Hope you didn't miss me too much. I mean, you probably didn't realize I was even gone, but, you know, if you did, that'd be nice...
Anyway, let's get to the news! Because it is really cold and the thought of having to go back to the school for classes is somehow making me feel even colder. so the faster I need, the sooner I can get indoors. Yes, I know I'm from Colorado, and no, it doesn't matter.
SCHOOL
Tricks, Cons and Bamboozles talked about persuasion, and they had an imrpov assignment to talk others into doing something they want them to do. Neal asked about Kenzi's sake party for the squirrels, and Asuna and Kenzi agreed that sake is evil. Remember that, kids. Stay away from the alcohol, it only leads to bad decisions and rough mornings.
Creative Writing worked on developing characters, and in Try Not to Die!! we had to go into the freezing cold to do things like either build a fire or build a weapon. And then we got to use it to drive a mammoth off a cliff. That just still seems so wrong to me. And let's not even talk about where I came in but Blysse came in first. Congratulations, I guess.
Deep Sea Diving was set up to be nice and warm, and they got to get in the water and explore. Lucky them. I chased a mammoth. And finally, Rinoa spent her library shift being all productive.
DORMS
Over at the dorms, Miley sent out an email about a party on Saturday. It's so nice of you to send that out. I love getting invited to parties! Kenzi was taking pictures of a small behatted marsupial, which is not something you hear about every day, and Jeremy isn't a monkey anymore! I'm sorry you were a monkey at all. But it's good that you're better! He got out his laptop to check on the gossip he'd missed.
That's all for the dorms. Maybe the squirrels didn't want to brave the cold.
TOWN
At the clinic, Millie used her powers to warm up the clinic. That has to be handy. Maybe she could have helped out a cold Spock at Fixer Uppers. At Dite's, Raven found herself and her cat wearing hats when she got there, and Kate Gregson brought Alice a bunch of the baby booties and told her about being a cat. Is everyone an animal right now, or just getting better? Should I be watching for any signs in case anything starts happening to me? Just asking.
Mary was freezing at the Arms but was too good for the hats, and in the hats class taught at the community center, Ghanima apparently didn't talk about the hats falling from the sky. Instead she taught about what makes up a hat and how it affects how it looks on you. At the Devil's Nest, Emma collected hats and booties to donate as a tax write-off for Eric. Why does donating clothes like that sound vaguely wrong to me? Because it does.
At Cake Luke's, the cold prompted Sookie to text Bobby for some reason, and Ariel had to change the sunny displays at Pixie Dust to something a little more appropriate. And let me just say that is really sad to have to do in July. In the park, Seifer decided to... I guess turn lemons into lemonade, and started an impromptu barbecue in the park. Jack Sparrow found out there was food and gravittated to it, but he was a little freaked out by Seifer's pet. I'm sure it doesn't bite.
And that's all I've got. Now to go back outside. If you don't see me in class, alert the authorities.
