Fandom Radio - July 8th, 2011
Columbus: Good Morning Fandom! This is your morning broadcast and my name is Columbus Ohio. For those of you who are new to the island, that is my name. I'm not the capital of Ohio sitting here in the broadcast booth. Granted most people realize that it's completely impossible to fit a midwestern city inside a booth but given that this island does impossible things on a weekly basis, you should just take my word that I'm a normal person.
Normally you would also here the snarky comments of my fellow broadcaster named Jack Carter. Instead we seem to have dog in his place.
Jack-Dog: ARF!
Columbus: Sadly I think the dog has more going for him than Jack.
Jack-Dog: Grrrrrr.
Columbus: Bad dog. Sit. Siiiiit. Sit.
Jack-Dog: ARF!
Columbus: And no chasing the squirrels.
Classes!
Columbus: Starting off yesterday was Talking is a Free Action where Deadpool baffled everyone and forced them to introduce themslves and utter their favorite catchphrase.
Then over in Monkey Business, Jane babbled through her lecture and then made the students introduce themselves and tell everyone what their favorite primate is.
Then over in Cupcake War Crimes Where the two teachers lectured the class about the do's and don'ts about cupcakes which apparently involved mocha and toasted ravioli cupcakes.
Jack-Dog: ARF! ARF!
Columbus: Yeah, that doesn't sound good to me either. Students then introduced themselves and then made cupcakes.
Finally in Teambuilding for Dummies, Oz lectured about teambuilding while tossing around C-4 Explosives and then had everyone do...yes, .
Dorms
Columbus: Over in the dorms Ramona was checking out job postings and got a visit from Simon where they talked about visiting London. Sometime during the early morning Jake snuck into Caroline's room so there could be snuggles. I think even the dog sitting next to me agrees that deserves a big giant "AWWWWW!"
Jack-Dog: ARF!
Columbus: See? Even canines think it's cute. Then over on the third floor common room, Wesley was making eggs. Percy stopped in for eggs and to talk about his need to work out some agression. Kenzi then mistook Percy for Jason which brought about the whole discussion of doppelgangers. Which, personally, I think is weird and I hope it never happens to me... and why are the squirrels bringing up random pages on Facebook?
Jack-Dog: Arf!
Columbus. Yeah. I don't know either. Then Kenzi checked in with her big sib and talked about her roommate disappearing. Much like my co-host. Anyone know where Jack is?
Jack-Dog: ARF! ARFARFARF!
Columbus: Shh! Quiet! Bad Dog. No bark.
Jack-Dog: Grrrr!
Town
Columbus: Then in town, Fraser was scrubbing the pool at MHA. Jack Priest was bitten by a gremlin and started styling his hair. Millie was happily sorting books while Butters was writing postcards at the post office. Helen hung out with the horses at the gig while Chuck was late to Caritas. And wrapping up this quiet news day, Scully was in the clinic working on blood samples.
