Fandom Radio- Wednesday, June 15

Happy Wednesday, Fandom...ites? Fandomians? Do we have a name? Can we come up with one, if we don't? Anyway, hi, fellow people who live in Fandom. This is Annie bringing you all the news that is fit to talk about this fine morning.

SCHOOL

Bod won Cupcake War Crimes last week, and this week they were questioning whether your favorite food belongs in a cupcake. Which... is disturbingly thought-provoking. But then when the examples are mac and cheese and corned beef and cabbage, and then I read that people got adventurous with their baking, maybe I don't want my thoughts provoked that hard.

Attitude: Just Deal With It asked what they wanted to do with their lives, and- What is it, squirrel? ...Sorry, listening audience, the squirrel just got a look on his face like maybe he left the gas on.

And it might just be me, but I think he's wearing makeup.

Anyway... The lecture, unlike my reading of the notes, was actually kind of serious, with everyone talking about their life ambitions. Then we have Try Not to Die!!, where we went to the forest moon of Endor, where we got to escape guys in white armor by riding these bike things. I still say this wasn't fair, unless there was a Learn to Ride a Bike Thing!! class offered as a prerequisite. Then we either talk walking teddy bears out of eating our classmates or got to be tone of the classmates to be eaten who had to try and escape. Try Not to Die!! class is maybe a little more disturbing than I expected. Angelica won today. Fine. Good for you, Angelica. I could've done it if I knew how to fly space motorcycles.

Your African Expedition Adventure! learned about building fires. There was a lot of talking, and then we got to build fires in the jungle without burning it down.

That's it, except for the library, where Rinoa was looking at newspapers from 2011 and from the old west. I love that idea! Now I have to go find one of those papers if I ever get around to walking around alone around possibly trigger-happy cowboys!

CABINS

Outside Take That cabin, Luke was zoning out when Percy threw a stone at him. Luke asked him to stick around anyway because they've been avoiding each other. And then they argued more about Percy's mom. That... sounds scary when I read that about two teenage boys. I'm not sure if I should be assuming any of the conversation started with "Your momma's so..." and then followed up with some derogatory adjective.

...I just made your momma jokes sound dorky, didn't I? Sorry, everyone.

Also, Momoko was practicing at the gun range. Maybe I should take her to find old west newspapers. I only trust myself around simulated zombies right now.

TOWN

Millie was at the clinic listening to the nurses' stories about visiting the Wild West, and Spock spent his shift at Fixer Uppers doing research about animal transformations. That is probably not the worst idea anyone's ever had. Mary took advantage of Gunther's absence to get some work done at the hotel, and Alice organized and cleaned Groovy Tunes while she was there.

Sookie battled an orange uprising at Luke's... I didn't even know that could happen. And Robin texted her friend at Caritas and planned obnoxious baby gifts. Ariel was reading magazines and singing Phil Collins at Pixie Dust, and Emma was not-literally beating the pants off some cowboys at poker at the Devil's Nest. Which is good, because that'd be a strange thing to read over the radio. And now we all know now to play poker with Emma.

That's everything I have to read to you guys today. Till next week!
