Fandom Radio, Tuesday, June 7th
Hey there, Fandom! I hope you've all snapped back to your normal selves-- *thwock* --as the squirrels certainly have, because it's been one rollicking weekend, hasn't it?
*dead silence*
But nevermind. We've got info on what you guys have been doing all day yesterday, and I'm sure you're dying to hear it.
SCHOOL
Hero Management kicked off strong, with Professor Hermione commanding everyone to cease talking about the weekend. I think that's a very good call, professor. All that gossip just distracts from the material-- rule-breaking is a serious topic that should be handled seriously. As several students acknowledged when they visited Professor Hermione and in Luke's instance, apologised for missing class. Remember: your education's the only thing you take with you when you leave, but I'm sure the professor will forgive you. And Wesley.
Professor Bond tried to take it easy on everyone by letting them watch a film about surviving in the desert. Let's hope nobody needs that one anytime soon, am I right? My friend Tony tackled Outdoor class again to compensate for his teacher making like a turkey, which didn't get anyone out of working out. And in Destiny class, Professor Ghanima followed Bond's example and showed them a movie. And that's that for school.
Well, except for the part where apparently Jeremy and Simon fell into a locker...? Oh, come on, that's a worse excuse than 'I turned into a turkey!'
... No offense, professor Rogers.
DORMS
Or, what all of you were up to to cope with that weekend we're not talking about, guys! Kate Daniels inaugurated the main campfire with some sketches, and Luke was happy to find she was lighting the fire. However, the lack of food concerns him, and I can't blame him at all. Ramona baffles over both the camp and the island's relative position, while Stan thinks Kate is putting in a little bit too much of an effort.
Karla wakes up with her boyfriend, and they discuss some topics I won't be sharing with you all. I'm sorry, but that'sfor my own use private. Kate Gregson, steward of the Third Floor, decides to take a hike after the weekend. Hope you'll be back soon, Kate! She seems to kick off a trend, because upon discovery of her note, her roommate Bobby decides to move house for a while, too. But not everyone is running off-- Dave takes it in stride, and just marks the whole thing off on his Fandom bingo card. Hey, can I get a copy of that...? Likewise, Cara just goes for a nice, relaxing wake-up, and Jack decides 'coping' comes with 'silly videos of people messing up'.
I can feel you there, Jack.
Seifer doesn't pay lip service to That We Shall Not Name at all, but packs for the cabins instead. Freddie decides to hide with a video game, before Sam Puckett barges in to insult his mother's potential nuptials and smacks him. Wow, Sam, you are one harsh taskmaster. Then good ol' Wesley stops by to check on him, but he still refuses to get out of bed. That's it, Freddie. Fight the power.
TOWN
Where there are yet more awkward wake-ups, or at least Raven and Jono comparing notes about their weekends. Again, I'mhoarding for my benefit not sharing. Angelica took care of the horses, while Lacey's staff considered the effects of coffee in a gas tank. ...
Well, now you guys know where to go for job openings!
Dinah calls Momoko over and they discuss what happened over the weekend with Kate and everyone else, but again, details withheld to protectmy interests the innocent. Momoko herself worked that day, and Belle poured over a book at the Perk. Then there's something about a pyramid and a ukelele at the Devil's Nest that I don't want to think about, and Eric seemed keen to ignore.
Okay, folks, that's all you've been up to yesterday. Hope you have a better weekend next time!
