Fandom Radio: Tuesday, October 26
Sookie: *yawn* Okay, I feel like the whole island is sleepy today. Half of us aren't sleeping well, it seems. How're you, Jessica?
Jessica: I feel wide awake!
Sookie: ...you only woke up like two hours ago, though. I should have considered that.
Jessica: I was never much of a night person before, but now...well, I don't have much of a choice.
Sookie: Must be nice, though. I'm on like my third cup of coffee and you're all...perky.
Jessica: Now I'm wonderin' what would happen if I drank caffeinated blood.
Sookie: Is that a thing? ...you'd bounce off the ceiling.
Jessica: Someone who'd drunk a whole lot of coffee. Or Mountain Dew!
Sookie: But would it affect you? This sounds like a question for Google.
Jessica: I can ask Pam! I bet she'd know. She's real smart.
Sookie: About vampire things. And makeup. And leather underwear. Pam is a very specialized kinda smart, I think.
Jessica: And body disposal.
Sookie: ...useful skills. Anyway, I think the squirrels are getting fussy with us.
Classes
Sookie: Jaina has students flying clawcraft in a dogfight against X-wings in spaceship class, and all that sounds like nonsense to me but I'm sure it means something awesome in spaceship-language. They listened to the lecture, and Cally asked if Tahiri's related to Ben. God, I hope not. And Ender asked Jaina if he could sit this out because he's tired of fighting in sims.
In um, Cigar class, we talked about sex scenes again. And then we um...wrote one. Elphaba refused, like a nice girl -- why didn't I think of that? -- and Jaime and Ms. Perrault were both there.
In Unconventional Tactics, students had to fight griffins without powers. That sounds...scary as heck. Anyway, there was a weapons search and planning session, and then they fought griffins. Meanwhile, Chloe and Jake, and of course, Reno were all there.
Math today was all about Schrodinger's cat, and Witten's dog. But of course, the conversation devolved into whether dogs eat kitties. And finally, Rinoa read in the library. Of all things to do in there!
Jessica: Kerrigan was all cranky in her office, Fraser was busy doin' paperwork in his, and Angua was readin' in hers. Aly got a visit from Ino, who wanted to talk about startin' a revolution usin' stuff she knew about other timelines or something. The Doctor came by, too, and Aly was glad he wasn't wearin' a bikini. Anakin was in his office, also not wearin' a bikini, but I guess Max must’ve wished he was on account of talkin' about dunk tapes and Anakin bein' a girl, but then he got tossed out. Deadpool wanted to know if Anakin was gonna take his little girl trick-or-treatin', and that creepy goth girl was there, too, so she could get all weepy about not hearin’ from Karla.
The Parkour Club ran and jumped and fell down. I still don't get what that's all about. But if I was a student I guess I could ask Kyle or Mr. Bond. The Fighting Reserves had a meetin', too, and then they did some sparrin'. Cally and Dana decided they just weren't gonna stab each other. Yeah, Dana, stabbin' is bad. People could talk to the leaders, too.
Dorms
Jessica: Leda was all upset by a letter or somethin'. Or maybe because her roommate Bobby was movin' out 'cause she was a girl. Bobby went to live with Alex Karev instead, who was smokin' and readin' in his room. Effy came by to talk about minions and storms and not cuddlin', which probably means they do wanna cuddle. Alexander was drinkin' tea in the third floor common room, and he talked about homecomin' with Quinn.
Town
Sookie: Loki organized his files at MHA, while at Groovy Tunes, Jono and Ariel were going to write a song for a kitten named Joni Mitchell, awwwww, and Rosalind came in and gave him a hard time about that super-cute name. Hinata worried with her own kitty at Book Haven, Ino read about the music industry at Covent Flowers, and Ariel had her free kisses sign back at Pixie Dust. I'd just worry about gettin' a bad kisser, is all. Bad kissers buy clothes, too.
Mary put out tombstone candies at the Arms, I kinda threw myself into cooking at Luke's, Shunsui tested all the drinking thingies at Turtle and Canary, and Raven poked at her phone at 'Dite's -- I feel you, sweetie. Though not literally. Not like you do. You know what I mean. Anyway, Cloud came in to ask if she knows why he hasn't seen Karla. Ugh, if anyone figures that out, text me ASAP. Or just think really hard. Either one tends to work.
Um, anyway, in Caritas, Robin was late, and she got to meet Kukaku and they talked about how explosions are fun. And in the clinic, Dr. Pierce was locked up for misbehavior.
Jessica: Karla’s a friend of yours? I’m sorry she’s missin’.
Sookie: Yeah, this is why there's the whole sleep deprivation thing. I'm going to lecture her like you wouldn't believe when she's back. It might even be worse than the one I gave you.
Jessica: ...wow, that’s pretty bad then.
Sookie: You betcha. I'm going to go pass out in my bed, though, I think. I'm finally sleepy. You enjoy your night, sweetheart. Stay away from Mountain Dew addicts.
Jessica: Especially if it’s gettin’ early. I don’t wanna be up all day.
Jessica: I feel wide awake!
