Fandom Radio: Wednesday June 30
I know it's crazy talk, but it's a Wednesday, and here I am on radio. I'm Rose Hathaway in case the voice didn't give it away. I dunno why I'm on Wednesday either, but that's how it goes. It was a crazy light news day today. Hopefully everyone's having fun off island or something cause you're obviously not having it here.
We all know nothing's going on at the school so let's just move onto the dorms. Where Dana's at the shoot range, and Claire chats on the phone with her family and Dinah. ...God, everyone's totally interesting today, huh? Oh, here's a late squirrel running up with a note about Bobby, Sookie, and Gabrielle watching Dusk and Full Moon. Yeah, my point's totally standing cause God, those movies are terrible. Who the hell thinks vampires work like that?
Right then, in the town there's a little more stuff going on. Thank God or I'm gonna die of boredom here. Jaina was ...setting up furniture in a new apartment in MCA. The fuck? Oh. Cause John's coming to teach next term, right? Awww, Jaina, that's adorable being all sweet and setting up your boyfriend's apartment so he doesn't have to deal with it.
Uhura - and I got no idea if I'm pronouncing that right - was reading at the hat shop. Boring. Christian and Ariel went on a date - with multiple a's - to Taste of Thai. Way less boring. But now I'm wondering if she gave him a date kiss for buying something at Pixie Dust. Jonas hung out at the Perk and chatted with Dr. Hawkeye about the importance of caffeine and Dimitri about how Jonas looks a little like Adrian. Except, you know, Jonas is human and doesn't dress as well.
In the Park, Ino was all sad until Zack came by. Hopefully he cheered her up and didn't make her more sad about how her last mission was. Hiccup went to the junkyard to buy some junk. As you do. Ooh, Didi and Jono were on a date at the movie theatre to hopefully not see a western. Or Dusk. We had Alice working her ass off at Groovy Tunes and remaining unpranked. Unlike Lion-O who got punked by the guys at Luke's.
Hannibal thought he was hilaaaaaaaaaaaarious at Caritas when he made Tino paint his nails. When Kate came in, she wanted to know what the fuck was up with the nail polish. Good question, Kate. At the Clinic, Martha was doing a budgt check between inventory and releasing Griff back into the wild.
That's it for tonight. Next week, I'll think up nicknames for all the newbies we get to hang out with and see you back on the regular day and time. Happy Independence Day! Well, if you're American. If not, well, go barbeque anyway. Night!
