Fandom Radio - Wednesday, June 2, 2010
"It can't be Wednesday again. What happened to Thursday through Tuesday? I resent that implication, squirrel. Let us never speak of this lapse of time passing ever again. At least until I forget and bring it up again next week.
Fandomites rejoice! It's that time again. This is Hawkeye Pierce and you're listening to WTFH pirate radio from here right in downtown Fandom.
Class - Still Searching for Some
Applied Dadaism played Hide and Seek where everyone is 'it.' The TAs Hayley and Gwynn were there, but everyone else was too busy trying to find Artie, who was hiding.
Dogma was for adrenaline junkies. Loki swore about not being sensible, swore some more and then sent the students bungee jumping, hang gliding, cliff diving and street luging. Martha's in the clinic if anyone needs a bone set.
Romance 101 covered romantic gestures. The kids talked about romantic things that they've done and had done to them. Slim pickings, I'm told. Bobby explained his absence to Drake as well.
Blending In went on safari. Did everyone get a hat? Everyone deserves a hat on safari. There were lions and tigers and... cheetahs? Oh my. The picnic after was for real people only, not imaginary animals. Firekeeper took some time out of her picnicking to console Ben Skywalker about having to see a zebra getting eaten.
Magic of Baking was canceled because Alysha was sick. Quick! Someone get that woman some soup!
The library had Sam Winchester making a list and checking it twice. Chuck Bass who was naughty and not nice came to wax lyrical about how much he hated the cabins and how co-dependent the Winchesters were. Speaking of Winchesters, Dean came to share his lunch with Sam, but not with Henry even though the librarian was in.
Office hours amounted to me singing, Faith playing with a pencil and Cindy partaking in yoga. This is what happens when no one visits us.
On-Campus - The Parts That Aren't Class
Christian was writing a poem at Godzilla Campfire. Alex Karev only planned on checking on Christian, but the conversation veered towards sex and love having nothing to do with it. Alex, I'm liking you more every day.
Leia and Christian made a date for a private poetry session, and Alex tried to talk Leia into adding a wet t-shirt to her wardrobe.
Christian and Sara lamented being displaced a hundred years from home. Rilla, meanwhile, solved Christian's rhyming problem and told him about her family. It must have been story sharing time, because Tim Drake and Christian added to the tales of home with telling each other how they came to be in Fandom.
The magic and support group did a trust exercise with blindfolds. People arrived and mingled. Karla showed Tim Drake her magic hands and coaxed him into being her partner. Well that's one way to do it. Robin didn't have magic hands, but tiny little frog hands that he used to wave to Rinoa.
The threat in this trust exercise? The grass was lava! Not literally. That's important to clarify. The pairs were Raven and Emmett, Tara and Rinoa, Jonothan and Diana and the aforementioned Karla and Tim. The group's intrepid organizers were there to talk to if anyone felt the urge.
Elsewhere, Scully, Leda and James were getting in some target practice at the shooting range. I'm going to pretend it was with slingshots.
Peter Bishop was at the Main Campfire, stargazing. Stargazing brings in the ladies, namely Ellie who Peter discovers is also from the 90s. Claudia came to greet the stargazer as well and the topic turned to flinging jello from a trebuchet. Make this happen. Ellie, you've said hello to Claudia. You're now friends. Make this happen!

Castiel was playing with the cats who were eyeing the balcony at Our Lady of Fandom. Turns out the reason was Artie was hiding up there as part of his Hide and Seek class.
Imperial Brim's Uhura was moving merchandise around to match the weather. At Wellspring, Ino was goofing around on the computer. Lion-o's shift at Luke's consisted of trying to turn off a phone with an annoying ringtone. Beka used her adrenaline high from class to leap into her duties at Atlas with gusto. With not as much gusto, Dru read a book at The Magic Box and Alex Cabot researched on the internet at Cabot & Associates. It's good to be your own boss.
Over at Caritas, Hannibal started a feud with Tino and Angela Montenegro warned him that Tino might kill him in his sleep. Try to keep it down to a dull roar, Tino. And the good Doctor Jones was in the clinic watching Food Network. There's a network about food? I know what I'm doing after this.
Right now, as a matter of fact. Yes, squirrels, you can come too. I'll make popcorn. This has been Hawkeye Pierce, WTFH pirate radio and that was the news. To the apartment!"
