Fandom Radio, Thursday June 15th, 2006
Good evening, Fandom, and welcome to yet another Thursday night broadcast with me, Bridge Carson! And don't worry. Tonight's broadcast isn't in code. Really. I swear.
Where People Learn Things
In Sex Ed, everyone did, uh, arts and crafts with condoms. Which, as anyone who's been at Fandom High long enough will tell you, is not exactly all that unusual around here.
Today, I totally crashed Wilderness Survival. Callisto made everyone strip down to everything but their underwear, because today we were learning how to make clothes out of like, animal skins and stuff. It was actually pretty cool. Though, unfortunately for him, but fortunately for everyone who was inclined to look, Alec wasn't wearing any underwear and had to go completely naked.
In Leadership and Outdoorsmanship, everyone got to learn about fire control and play dress-up. And then they practiced fire control in the Danger Shop. Afterwards, they broke off into Team Knight and Team Pigtail, led by Peter Pevensie and Pippi, respectively.
And in Nature & Nature Magic, there was a lot of drumming and dancing!
In the cafeteria today, Sakurazaki had lots of lunch, and Paige and Tim talked about the fact that Paige is leaving. Aw.
Where People Live
Paige stopped by Pippi's room to say goodbye. Janet and Liz were all cute and couple-y. River- who painted a fish named Turtle on Xander's door, and the fish moves!-, the dude, and I all stopped by Xander's room to talk and stuff.
In the Fifth Floor Common Room this morning, River was painting. And then she apparently creeped out Pip somehow. Pippi and River noted that Proty- that's the octopus- hasn't done anything interesting. Not like Turtle. Of course, knowing Fandom, just because it doesn't do anything interesting now doesn't mean it won't in the future. Sakurazaki and River then decided that Proty is possibly the fifth floor mascot, or possibly an anti-shrimp curse.
Anakin talked to Obi-Wan and got some presents from home. Yay, presents!
Dawn was confused by Alec and Dean, who un-bodyswapped. Peter Pevensie and Willow did the date thing.
In the Second Floor Common Room, Anakin and Rory kind of failed at cookies. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think sand is a required ingredient in cookies.
In the gym, Alanna and Tyler talked about possibly brewing storms. That doesn't sound good. Walter and Tyler discussed Sex Ed and Locker 327. Possibly those two topics are not linked. I hope not. Anders met Tyler and was pretty much drafted onto the basketball team. Pip also met Tyler but wasn't drafted on to the basketball team.
Bel meditated with Blair and managed to make himself all un-demon-y, yay! Phoebe was, understandably, pleased about this.
Paige was still saying goodbye to people today, as she stopped by Maia's room for a while to chat.
Outside the dorms, Conner played soccer, improvising with a couple of trees instead of goalposts because we don't actually have goalposts. Out by the gun range, Peter Pevensie and Sakurazaki also made plans for the new swordfighting club- practice area- type thing.
Anders took a nap. Dude, I hope your dreams got less weird.
In the Fourth Floor Common Room, we were watching "Runner, Texas Ranger", which isn't like Abaranger or Dekaranger at all, which is good. Blair and Dean talked body-swapping and shimmering. I've done the first, but not the second. Although, I have teleported, so maybe that's sort of the same. Dean was being all sneaky and pretending to be Alec at Officer Lion-Girl. Blair talked about shimmering to Officer Lion-Girl, who said she wanted to be able to do that too. It does seem like a pretty useful skill. Jude and Blair were all mellow and talked about Setsuna. Dean and I talked about ghosts and detecting ghosts and stuff. Blair and I talked about... barefootedness and workshops and The Man and, well, lots of stuff actually. Marie helped Blair name his fish, meets Dean, and apologizes for freaking out when I was all small and ferret-y.
Paige stopped by to see Lana and say goodbye.
Walter, Seras, Pippi and Pip all got really drunk. Hopefully none of them have workshops early tomorrow. Or if they do, that they're not the type to get hangovers. Veronica got some email and was visited by Walter and Archie.
Peter stopped by Aeryn's room to show off his cast or something, and Isabel and Aeryn talked about mummies and holidays and stuff.
Where People Buy Things
In town today, River stopped by to talk to Giles, Willow and Dr. Pevensie talked at J,GOB, Tyler talked to Jamie- did anyone actually buy anything at any of the stores? Oh! Willow bought handkerchiefs at All & Sundries. Well, that's a start, I guess.
Barbossa's call in show was as... enlightening... as usual today. And oh! I have an ad I need to run, apparently.
The Arms Hotel is now under new management, and is currently hiring for all entry level positions. Enquire in person at the front desk, or call 555-KENT to schedule an interview.
So there you go, if anyone needs a job!
Speaking of the hotel, both Phoebe and Ranma stopped by. Presumably to enquire about jobs.
Sam and Janet hung out in the preserve today. Later, Janet hung out with Peter Pevensie at the Perk. Wow, that was some alliteration there. Cool. Also, in other alliterative news, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes was open.
Dr. Lambert wasn't having a good day at all, with the bad dreams. Cafe Fina was empty. As was Caritas.
In Clinic news, Dr. Troy opened today. And that's all.
Goodbye, goodnight, and no matter what anyone tries to tell you, pudding-wrestling isn't actually a survival skill!

WELL HI THERE.no subject
At least he wasn't the only one having weird dreams, though. He wondered if any of them were going to involve pudding-wrestling at some point -- because wouldn't that just cap off the weird?

Then he remembered that talking to the radio was dumb.
