This be
likeguidelines bringin' ye the trauma 'n angst of a typical Monday at Fandom High.
Readin', Writin', 'Rithamatic
Professor Maclay be holdin' office hours if ye need t'be workin' out schedulin' conflicts with her new classes, which be startin' next week. She also be takin' time t'learn about Maia's powers.
Sign ups fer shop class and geography classes be open as well.
Students in Geology be learnin' about how the subject relates to minin', students in Languages be turnin' in homework and zonin' out, students in Speech be talkin' about their families, and students in Lifestyles be talkin' about alcohol with a drunk Professor Slatibartfest.
Art Appreciation be discussin' why people make art. And I be assured by people who know about these sorts o' things that Chihaya be winnin' at life fer his answer to Coach Ash's questions.
World History be learnin' about the Silk Road, Performin' Arts be meetin' fer the first time, and East Asian History be learnin' about Korea. They be not havin' much in common, but I do like groupin' things in threes, so ye'll just have to deal with it.
Dr. Grissom's classes be discussin' religion 'n what really constitutes a murder, Quantum Physics be talkin' about alternate realities, Advanced Negotiations be talkin' about when a chair be not a chair (be it a spoon, then? Mayhaps a sex toy?), and Cyborg Relations be tryin' to ferret out the students in the class who be pretendin' t'be robots fer the day.
Journalism class be told to be informed voters 'n to go ask a useful question at Marty's press conference.
Speakin' of which, the Student Council elections be held today. And Marty be holdin' a press conference t' discuss the allegations in the Tentacle. Number 6 also be doin' some last minute stumpin'. I be told that t'do it, the tree stump wasn't strictly necessary, but I be appreciatin' the effort.
The very first editions of the student newspaper, includin' special election coverage and a terribly comprehensive gossip column, be makin' some waves today. Rory be excited about bein' profiled, and Paige be tellin' anyone who'd listen that she 'n Chaucer be cute, not co-dependent. She be takin' it up with Beka, too.
In other Study Hall conversations, Cally be tryin' t'get her shirt back from Lee's room and Rory 'n Logan talk about the Tentacle, the elections, and dirty politics.
Jake be retrievin' his blood from the clinic, the library be open again (but not the Special Collections, if ye be lookin' fer books that bite or take over the world or somethin'), and the Chef be missin' his pants. If someone could be helpin' him with that, my future mental health will be thankin' ye.
Roomin'
Kawalsky catchin' up with Crichton 'n Sam, and Shep be sufferin' from an allergy attack. Poor thing.
Professor Sidle be breakin' up with Maia. She not be takin' it well, turnin' to Phoebe 'n Lana fer support. And to drinkin' fer consolation.
Elizabeth Weir be interrupted from her organizin' by Cally, Cam 'n Aeryn, all swingin' by to talk about the election.
Thar be plenty of studyin' (and snarkin' and makin' fun of each other, of course) in Room 239/240, and Rory, Angela, Marty, Parker, Alanna, 'n Zero be watchin' television in the common room.
Anders is havin' his very first hangover. We be so proud.
Rumor has it that certain members o' the Celine Dion fan club be havin' a talk (yes, the kind of a talk that comes once in every Celine Dion fan club member's life) 'n a trip to the clinic. It apparently be very, very traumatizin' fer someone who's name rhymes wit' "Me" (but it be not me.)
Revelin'
Professor Cregg be showin' Professor Methos around his new apartment, which used t'be her apartment.
At the Perkolator, Shane 'n Red talk about Shane movin' onto campus when enrollment opens again. Jake be gettin' his ear pierced at Red's, and Paige be checkin' in to see how the townie party went over at the Emporium.
At Spike's, Paige 'n George be talkin' about boys, and Angelus 'n Professor Maclay be talkin' about the nature of evil.
Rogue be makin' an interestin' new friend at the Bada Bing, and Krycek, Duce 'n D'anna be relivin' Krycek's moments of homecomin' humiliation at the Perkolator.
Fencing Club and Science Club be meetin' tonight.
Professor Cregg, the Doctor, Maia, Alanna and Rogue all be swingin' by Deb's fer fried chicken 'n good conversation.
That be all from the Crow's Nest! Keep an eye out fer the Rover, and have a good night!
